Does Diggs remain a starter with Bossman Fat on the field?

I think in the spirit of Competitive Fairness the NFL may not allow that. We would have way to much of an competitive advantage.. they may offset it by allowing the other team to bring 80 players and play with 16 instead of 11 on Offense though to try and make it more fair for the other team.

That is the question. I really dont see Brown as quite as big a liability as some believe, but he definitely needs improvement. Don't see them trusting Joseph with the bulk of the playing time until he gets some experience though.

Brown has always been decent a good part of the time. But as usual when he does give up a big play, everyone feels they need to do their thing.
They always need a whipping boy or two.
Get a better pass rush, as they are getting better at that. Then all DB's play better.

I like Brown, He may not be the best, but certainly not the worst. However, you are correct, once Joesph gets some playing time, gets into the flow of the NFL game and game speed.
He is the future CB there. Just can't throw him out there. especially with the way the defense is playing or starting to play better.

The wide open receivers are more on the underneath routes, which fall on the LB's and S's more, IMO. But that should improve also.

I’ve always though Brown was an above average Nickel guy.

I was surprised to see him out wide but he keeps improving.

If Joseph is somehow better than him at any point this year than that would be great but that seems unlikely for any rookie.

He’s starting to get the confidence to make plays on the ball too.

neither will get much playing time unless major injuries happen.

its LC, gallup, Gallimore, and Tank that will be back making bigger contributions..

I wonder what happens with Anthony Brown with Joseph back.

We probably see less Canady and slightly less Jourdan Lewis. Brown can slide to the inside on some plays, but I don't know that Joseph immediately takes >50% of snaps.

Joseph looked pretty raw in the preseason and hasn't practiced in 2 months so I doubt they are in a rush to get him out there full time.

Broaddus agrees with you. He would like to see Lewis off the field.

i can't imagine a rookie CB coming off of an injury having any kind of impact. Hopefully we have some more blowout leads down the road where they can sprinkle him in and get him some playing experience.
