I never thought Dak was as good as Romo until this year. Now it is pretty clear he is better.

How is this even relevant when trying to compare QB's from different era's? This is like trying to compare Aikman to Staubach. There is no point to it as personnel are different so how do you actually compare anyone to another from a different era?

The major edge here is that Dak finally has a good coaching staff. Something Romo can never say.

That's probably true, but if I were a sportscaster, I would avoid saying specifically that. I would obfuscate it with language like "Romo made a lot of amazing improvised plays, but Dak has been a better planner," which is basically true, but doesn't flat-out say one was better than the other. I don't see any point in starting arguments over who was better. Staubach was also better than Meredith, but that doesn't take anything away from the amazing job that Meredith did as our QB.

Do you recall which quarter of the game when Aikman made his comment? It would help narrow down the search. After all, there is only so much Joe Buck that anyone should be forced to listen. Again.

I am saying debating over which is better right now is pointless because only one is still playing and neither have made it to a Super Bowl at this point.

There are many fans who liked Romo and like Dak, but the hate-filled posts that are made every time someone says something good about either is a waste given only one is still playing.

Stats are great, but Tom Brady, the GOAT quarterback, just had his first ever 400 yard game a few days ago and he was considered the best quarterback ever long before that game.

I think it's more sad to complain about what you consider a pointless debate.

I am and have always been a big fan of Romo, thankful he was the QB and did all he could to help this team. In the end however Cowboy QB are judged on SB and like Danny White another QB I have great respect for never got it accomplished. This is Dak's time to step up and help lead this team to a championship and history will judge him based on that.

Danny got a close a couple of times but never got past the NFC Championship game. For Romo we could never make it beyond divisional rd. Thus far Dak has helped us to post season twice but again no further than divisional, but Dak has time to finally get this team over that hump.

Two different QBs, on different teams. I am a bigger fan of Dak than Romo but that's just me.

The criticism of Romo not being a leader is legitimate.

But Dak has a few years left to prove his worth.

White was the QB when I grew and realized I was a Cowboy fan. He did come dang close. Romo was the ultimate underdog IMO. For the first time in years, I actually feel fairly confident that we will win something significant under Prescott. Especially when our defense looks so improved.

I didn't hear him specifically say that either. I did hear Buck take a swipe at Tony, Troy was talking about Tony being injured and Dak took over (something like that) and Joe said and Romo predicted it, Troy chuckled.
