You’re right that he doesn’t need his calf to be 100% line Gallup does.


We just gotta hope that it’s less of a
Strain than Gallup’s and something he can play through if it is still bothering him in 2 weeks

Dak's sense of humor about it tells me he's not feeling too bad and should be ready after the bye. I don't think he'd be laughing "surprise" if it felt that bad.

I guess we'll wait on the MRI, but he looks ok walking. Steps are always hard with that injury, but seems to be managing ok. I'm sure it'll be tender tomorrow.

Not a pro athlete, or a doctor but I pulled my calf muscle once, classified as a moderate strain. I started to feel much better in a few weeks, but that first week it was hard to do much from the moment it happened. Dak looks like where I was in week 3 . However, if he does need an extra time to heal he should take it, rushing back too quickly will just extend the recovery time. I unfortunately did that with mine.
