Dak was very good. He used to struggle more on the road. I think those days are over. He has a lot of weapons and is taking full advantage. He is a good leader that has played up to his contract.

The two headed running attack is awesome. I really like the different skills these two bring. I see no drop off from the other back. Pollard was a steal in the 4th.

Steele has been very, very good. Will start in this league for a long time. He has really worked hard to improve. Love guys like that.

The Football Gods have finally smiled on us. We really needed this bye week. Get some players back and get the active guys healthy. If we can shore up the DT(Gallimore), that would be great.

Biadasz is a liability. He is the weakest link on that OL. Williams would be next, but I think they may need to check their C options. Worst case, draft one next year.

Coaching--- Love Dan Quinn and Kellen Moore. MM is the wrong guy. It just seemed like he guessed wrong on 4th downs all game. Why did he not take a TO late in the half and make them review the 3rd down Dak sneak. We will lose Quinn and KM. We have seen this game before with Sean Peyton. I would punt MM and promote KM to HC that calls plays.

Need to offer new deals to Gregory and Schultz ASAP. These are very good players you might be able to tie up for reasonable money now. JJ should know time is your enemy when negotiating with good players.

I really like Kearse at Safety. Always seems to be making plays.

Diggs takes some chances early on routes. Those chances will pay off on big plays. Every now and then it will bite him. I love his game! His kid is really cute too.

The NFC East is down again. Not as bad as last year, but it is the Cowboys to lose! Time to get some home playoff games.

Thanks for sharing, I agree with most of your evaluations, although some are not practical such as the Gregory and Schultz new deals. They have agents for this very reason.
I would say draft 2022 should include way high on the list interior linemen that can also play center or vice versa.

It was inside two minutes, so McCarthy couldn't make the officials review it. Belichick actually called a timeout there, I believe, but the officials still didn't review it. No challenges allowed in final two minutes of a half.

The Boys overcame adversity and gutted out a win. Short and simple, for a game that was not.
But that's the bottom line.
Boys!

I hope LVE doesn’t find out what I said ab Dan Quinn at one point in the game.

It was the first time I was frustrated at him/defense and it got the best of me. I felt bad afterwards.

DQ you still thorough bro

Another week and another win for Mike and people are still down on him…..good grief
I hate that too. And if you go to the Patriots board, they are killing Bill. Coaches can't win with fans.

Dak is playing great. That's huge for us.

Good comparison between Moore and Payton. I hope we don't lose Moore like we did with Payton a regret it for 16 years.

BDZ and Conner Williams were liabilities.

I love how Steele is playing and the jump he made.

Diggs is awesome and his kid is really cute. How cool is it that his kid is there watching him dominate. I'm a family oriented person so when I see Zeke throwing a TD ball to his mom or Diggs making a play and then they show his kid I get all excited. To me nothing is cooler than the guys showing love to their family members.

This is way off topic but a long while ago we were playing the Bill's and one of the Bill's receivers was dating a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. He scored a TD on us and gave the ball to his girlfriend while she was cheering. I have never been happier to see another team's player score a TD because I love seeing gestures like that. I guess I'm a softy for the players showing love to the people that love them.

I love the praise the coordinators are getting. They can’t do no wrong in a lot of fans eyes when they have made some called some questionable plays while the head coach get the blame on something bad but no praise when something worked. Every head coach makes choices a fan will agree or disagree in every game.

Why would McCarthy call timeout after the first sneak? You don’t give an opposing team that much time if they ruled Dak didn’t score and the refs took at least 30 seconds to unpile. That is enough time to get the signal, especially when seeing Dak top body past the goal line.

Connor Williams is just terrible. Can we put McGovern in at LG?

Williams is too inconsistent , very little push on the running game from him and was by far the weakest link on the OL.

After the bye week, don't be surprised if the Cowboys come back with a new starting center. Tyler was okay yesterday, but in order to get to the super bowl, they will play Vita Vae and Suh again (be it in Jerry's World or in Tampa). Tyler just doesn't have enough in his back pocket at this point. Any team with beefy DTs will give him problems and as a result be in Dak's face.

Yeah, I think MM makes some head scratching decisions, but there’s no denying the culture of this team is 100% better under MM. The Cowboys play as a team. Under Carrot, they were playing as a bunch of individuals.

There are a lot of head scratching moments with MM, particularly in game.

I will again repeat that MM allows the coordinators to be flexible and seems to encourage week to week game planning and scheme adjustments. This makes KM and DQ look good. Go back to the JG era where he emphasized execution over scheme. If JG were coach, KM and DQ would look like idiots because they wouldn't be allowed to change things up.

I get the MM complaints but there should be some nuance.

I think the only problem I have with MM is his tendency to go for it on 4th and 1, especially when the ball is on our side of the field. Why give our opponents a short field?

How refreshing that people believe Dak is worth the money. ;)

The William and Biadaz next to each other may amplify the weakness of one another. Opposing DCs see that and are putting their resources over those two. Obviously Connor's contract is up and unlikely to be resigned.

Didn't we at one point rotate G play by quarters? Is it rocking the boat by rotating McGovern in there or is Biadaz the bigger problem? I like to think Biadaz is still young and early in the career that we can still develop him (see Steele). Connor is probably the best he'll be.
