This game is going to stick with Belichick

He used the formula that all teams will try. It’s one of the only ways to beat us. Stop the run and make Dak beat you. Dak has gotten good enough now he can beat you with his arm. I think the pats played as well as they could. And had the refs help.
I’d agree with most but bulk of the penalties were on us. Conner Williams is a weakness on OL.

We were sloppy and I’m not going to blame the refs. Only we and our idiot HC can stop us offensively.

Bill put up a great plan against a team he was totally over matched against.

One of those games was nasty weather and don't you think Belichick knows he should have lost that game by 20? The score was not a true reflection of that game and he knows it.
If he should have lost by 20 , then why would it painful?

I’d think he’d be proud of the effort against a team he was truly overmatched against.

He’s GOAT. He lucked out getting to coach Tom Brady for 2 decades sure, but the man is a great coach.

Having said that, I don’t think there is a huge gap between coaching staffs in the NFL. This gap is so tiny, that what always decides games and creates the perception of who is or isn’t a good coach is completely related to the talent on the field. Jimmy Johnson was a moron that was in over his head in 1990. In 1993 he was a genius.

If we were to play the Pats again, we would smoke them by four TD’s.

Yeah you're looking for an edge. Coaches are close in general but you've witnessed the difference between a Mike Nolan and Dan Quinn. Of course we added a plethora of talent, but that was in part because of Quinns vision. A bad coaching staff can really hold a team back. We are fortunate to have lived through it with this roster because that perspective has only fueled the fire this season. The players are loving the change.

Without Brady he will get used to losing. After a while it won't bother him at all.
I thought Mac Jones played a lot like Brady yesterday. That kid is going to be a baller. Maybe The Hoodie did “make Brady, Brady”.

I saw one holding call that was bs. Even the commentators were saying it was ticky tacky. We had very sloppy play. Made lots of mistakes to go along with a few bad calls. And the TD Diggs and the safety gave up was almost a back breaker. At first I thought Diggs was going to pick it.

Yea, we can nick pick a couple of questionable calls but we had like 12 penalties. Most of them were legit.

Pats have a good QB. That's half the battle in rebuilding your franchise. They just need to rebuild talent in a lot of positions. They'll be back.

Do you not think he is aware of the hometown calls his team got to keep them from getting blown out?

He did exactly what he plan, which was to slow or stop our run game and force Dak to beat him. Guess what his azz didn't to Dak's been telling them......pick you poison. lol
most yards given up to a qb...ever

If that’s our weakest poison :omg:

He is a good one but they've not been great at drafting in the last few years. He used to be strong along the lines but not now.

Absolutely. We can’t do that against good teams. Clean up most of those and we win that game easier.

To know that he stopped our rushing attack, forced us into making multiple mistakes, a missed FG, terrible 3rd down conversions, and multiple 4th down stops.. YET still lost the game? Oh i know he's hot. If he could he would probably fire someone. This was a game that he wins 10/10 times any other season
We had over 100 yards rushing...and he didn't force us into mistakes, we made those on our own. Bill just walked the side lines looking upset, that's all he did.

What does that have to do with the pain ?
Coaches watch the game, not the score, and when he watches film of this one he's going to know he had help or he loses by 20.

Do you really think the football world is looking at that as a 6 point loss?

I don't really follow the Pats much, but I would be interested to see who is doing most of the draft decisions these days vs their dynasty days. It takes a while to rebuild a situation as good as Tom Brady, but they were always known for great defensive standouts, and a few gems on the Oline. They've had some okay wideouts but with the exception of Randy moss, honestly I think Brady made them all look better.
