When he turned on romo, that caused some of the other guys to turn on him.
what?......I have articles that I cant post that have a completely different way of seeing the Romo/Dak dynamic in the lockerroom
but its a article I cant post it

I'm not complaining about Dak's game, minus the 6 fumbles this year. At the end of 2019 I did an analysis for all QBs all-time and normalized their performance. Romo's QB rating was 10th all-time and Daks was 35th out of 331. When you look at QBR though, which includes Dak's running game, Dak is 9th all-time and Romo is 10th -- still means Romo was a better passer to that point.

Dak's throwing motion change really elevated his game though, so it may be worth taking another look since he has about 12 more games since then. Hard to imagine that his passer rating jumped 25 spots in those games, but it's possible.
Is there a QBR stat for overcoming 115 yards in penalties? Is there a stat for QBR stat for having to bring the team from behind multiple times in one game? Is there a QBR stat for 3rd down conversions? Your take is extremely naive and does not take into consideration the entirety of the game, the adversity that needed to be overcome, the will to make that happen.THAT’s the difference naive fans don’t understand.

I’ve always thought romo was better. He’s more accurate and has a faster release, but Dak has closed the gap a lot this year. If he improves in the red zone, I’ll have to say he’s better.
Romo would be absolutely filthy in Kellen Moore's offense with these weapons (no Michael Gallup either). He is more accurate than Dak and threw a very catchable ball. He would kill it. Dak has closed the gap a bit there when comparing.

The difference is leadership. I think Dak is a much better leader than Romo. His teammates would run through a burning brick wall for Dak and I think that was evident since his rookie year.

I believe the locker room gravitated towards Dak in 2016 so even when Romo was ready, Red couldn't go back to him. I believe it will pay off.

The Cowboys can absolutely win super bowls with Dak. I'm a believer (and I got a lot of love for Romo, still). Dak is that dude though.

Aikman would beg to differ. Today's game is a great example of Dak not quite being there yet. So many times guys have to reach or slow down to make the catch. He rarely hits them in stride for that extra YAC.
and every aikman, pass was perfect...I remember Aikman said, he loved throwing to Irvin because all he had to do is get it to his vicinity and he knew he had a chance....

I think you are probably way too focused on the throws that are not perfect. no QB is, the WRs have to make plays....that's their job....do the same for every other QB in the league and you see the same thing

Actually No.... Romo had the sizzle was often pretty clutch. Love the guy but he often shrunk, gaffed and errored when the lights shined brightest. Dak was always more steady, better intangibles and the better leader. Over the last couple of years, Dak has caught up from a pure passing and QB IQ standpoint. Advantage Dak
You guys just have forgotten how many times we asked Romo To go out and winthe game....often multiple times in one with receivers like Hurd and Austin. Romo had some of the best 4th qtr and comeback wins of his time.

Maybe you just gave up and went to bed instead if watching the whole game?

Having said that.....I don't look at this like a competition....I enjoyed watching romo....undrafted ...become one of best of his day.....and now dak doing the same.

I hope dak, and this team....can get some play off wins.

First off, my only complaint of Dak at this moment are the 6 fumbles this year. Hard to argue that isn’t problematic, and that’s the only negative thing I said. It’s also something Dak should be able to clean up. So it wasn’t even an inditement of him as a QB.

To the rest of your rant about how ‘naive’ I am, perhaps you should go read more about the QBR stat because that’s exactly what it attempts to capture.

Risen would never admit it.

Where is he anyway? Keeping a VERY low profile, I imagine. LOLQ

Gone are the days of him bragging about being right more often than wrong. He showed his $%# regarding Dak.

So QBR takes into consideration penalty yards that must be overcome? And why after all the great things Dak's done this year do you focus on the fumbles? Reeks of some agenda of yours.

It seems like you are the one with the agenda here.

Okay dude you gotta stop with this. Dak has only lost three fumbles this year.. One against Philly and one against the Giants.. and of course the ridiculous call on the goal line yesterday. I almost don't even want to hold that one against him. Then there was the one against San Diego that we recovered and the other two were snaps that went to his feet and he picked it up.. one of which he threw a TD to Coop on against Tampa and on the other he one handed it picked it up and threw a complete pass. Yes it's something to work on.. but stop acting like every fumble result in a turnover..

Yea except the 2 TD passes Dak had from the 2 yard line. Other then that we just don't pass in the RZ. KM needs to trust him.

I'm just happy Dak is playing well. Not really surprised though.

They're both really good.
I really don't see why people have to argue who is better, but I guess that's what fans do.

I do think Dak has played most of his career with what Romo had in 2014, but an even better-supporting cast on offense and much better coordinator.
And compared to 10+ years ago....well, the rules have changed a lot since then.

Have to love Dak's progression.
They can win it all with him at the helm

THE COACHING IS BETTER....its going to give Dak a shot at something Romo couldn't get because of it. Dak is great and is taking this to another level with the coaching help. No need to throw shade at Romo, not really the same chance with JG as we saw when he coached Dak also.

After watching the highlights yes I noticed that my bad. Dak did throw early to Jarwin in the end zone. Boggles my mind we ran 4 straight up the gut on 4th and inches

I have been with so many here in the zone asking Moore and Big Mac not to get cute and just run it from 1 - 4 times . But that is when we trusted the OL to blow open atleast hole once . I was surprised the OL couldn't do it y’day.

the OL should be ashamed of itself .
