I'm thinking I am the only one on this, but I'm still confused about what is a completion.

This was a catch in the end zone. I think it was Wilson. I think this was 1st half and we ended up kicking the field goal.

He catches the ball clearly with control, takes two steps in the end zone, gets tackled and loses the ball going down.

Wasn't that the whole Dez thing that was fixed? Even more so because he already was in the end zone.

It wasn't a catch. Right as Wilson went to secure it the DB punched the ball and when he went to the ground the ball clearly hit the ground.. This wasn't so much a drop by Wilson as it was a great play timing wise by the DB, he hit the ball at exactly the right moment. I am not mad at Wilson for that, it was just a good play by the DB.

He never had control, the DB had his hand in there and pried the ball loose before he could secure it, he lost the ball way before he fell to the ground.

I didn't think he had full control at any point....if I'm thinking of the right play.

Either way, it was clear any questionable call wasn't going our way yesterday.

It was a quick play but as soon as it was in his hands it didn't look like he secured it. Dez catch was much, much closer and today would be a catch.

remember, we played in NE so the refs always err on the side of NE....and there is no red flag that can be thrown unless they call it a TD and its reviewed....

I always thought of you have control of the ball and the ball breaks the plane it’s a TD. Like a RB that runs a goal line play and stretches the ball across and the ball comes lose when he goes down. Not a fumble. It’s always a TD. Should be the same.

Not even close to control. Go back and look at it again. At first, I thought the same thing you did but that wasn't the case.

You have to complete the catch.

if the catcher catches the ball before EZ and runs in that would be correct , but all catches made in EZ and going to ground you need to have the 2 feet / knee / elbow and have possession on the ball.

no control no catch. The ground didn't cause the fumble because the ball was never controlled by wilson.
