Only Cowboys HC and sloppiness can stop us

Just asking here.......so MM is in charge when something goes but NOT when a few plays don't work??????? Is this what you are saying
Not at all. But the risk or decisions on 4th down are purely his call. The rest of the calls we assume Moore is making although Mm might have input at least as far as scheme.

zeke is p

Play on the field is directly related to pay.

I’m fine with the fact that you don’t get it.

And here you go, you are the one that does not get it. But hey, do your usual and dump on me. As you know I am correct.

Our penalties and sloppiness appears to be only thing that can slow or stop us.

Along with our HC who continues to be an idiotic riverboat gambler when it’s not necessary on our side of the field in 4th down but won’t in our opponents side .

I could see our HC making a critical mistake in playoffs that could cost us.

So far our talent has bailed him out.

I've never seen a coach do/approve as many stupid things especially on our own side of the field on 4th down. If McCarthy just started doing the OPPOSITE of what he wants, we'll probably be OK. He's been a total idiot.

I may not be a big fan of Mike but i love how we are operating right now. The big 3 are all working at a high level (OC, DC, STC) and the front office is making smart decisions moving on from underperforming players.

That’s the general sentiment my closer Cowboy friends are saying . And much of the media.

These idiotic decisions are something we’ve never seen before in Cowboys history. It presents something we must overcome . And our concern is it could cost us at some point. Like in the playoffs.

That's not good enough, Rocky.

You're either good or you're not. I'm not in the participation trophy business.

Garrett is trash, and McCarthy is better, but that doesn't mean McCarthy is the right guy. Jason Garrett is not my bar. My bar is much higher than that.

Same bar that spent an entire offseason trashing Dak? or Herbert is far better than Dak? or Randy Gregory is no better than Aldon Smith. C'mom man .........now you're trying to convince us MM should be fired ( weakest link you heard on ESPN )

So, you don't MM meets with his coordinators during the week to go over game plans. Hell, I would even say most, if not all risk or 4th down calls or decisions are done with his coordinators' input during the game.

Fair enough..

My bigger point is where would be if Moore and possibly Quinn aren’t here.

And what this thread was intended to be about. Not bashing McCarthy but praising Moore and what his loss could mean.
Yeah that’s starting to become a possibility….I don’t think Moore is a head coach yet but I think others will and I’m scared to see what will happen if he’s not here.

He basically spotted the Patriots 7 points to start the game. I think the defense was so stunned by what happened and how stupid it was that they forgot to play. LOL

Yea, Zeke has be one more of a between the tackles runner. He showed a couple times some speed around the corner . But he doesn’t have the burst Pollard does.

Zeke shows some burst when he receives in the flat. He’s a good open field runner . He just doesn’t get in the open enough.
Was impressed with his pass catching yesterday.

I know you are a homer and chase around anyone that discusses miscues and bad play.

It’s not that your wrong, it’s that your either blind or too much of a homer to admit the truth.

Not a homer and not blind. But if that is your wrong opinion, so be it. I don't care. Not wasting my time on this as it is pointless.

no one can talk about things the cowboys did wrong. Who do you think you are?

I really had no problem with how Fat Mike called the game. It's not his fault we can't plow forward for a yard on multiple occasions. Dallas is leaving way too many points on the field for how well they're moving the ball. Not a chance Dallas beats the Buc, Packers, or Cards if they do that. But we'll worry about that when the time comes.

The only play call I didn't like was kicking the FG instead of going for it on 4th and 1 when he missed it. But I understand why he did it. The Cowboys were consistently stuffed on 4th and 1. The reason I didn't like it was because they were leaving way too much time on the clock, and all they would have needed was a FG to win it.

Yea, these boneheaded decisions will be exposed in playoffs and the price could be numbing.

Yeah with 2:40+ left in the game you can't be kicking a FG to take a 2 point lead against the Bucs. You just can't. But they weren't the Bucs and Mac Jones isn't Tom Brady.

Remember the Romo fumbled snap against the Seahawks in 2006? Same situation. I was more aggravated he went for the FG than when Tony fumbled. I had no confidence that defense would stop Seattle from getting into FG range with a 1:20 left, or whatever it was.
