Dallas Cowboys are 5-1, and many do not seem happy

When you get to 5-1 and are still playing some sloppy a%$ football it just tells you how good you can be when things get cleaned up. If you ain't excited to see this season through then I don't understand why you'd be on a cowboys forum. This is what real fans have been waiting for. We have a guy on defense with more interceptions than some freaking teams out there. I did not expect us to be 5-1 and couldn't be happier to be wrong. I can not wait to see how we do in the second half, get ready for the show cause it's coming.

I truly had zero expectations for this team one way or the other. On paper they looked great. But proof is what you put on the field. This team has proven that they are a very good team.
I ignore the naysayers.....either they aren’t Cowboy fans or they are ignorant about the game of football and the quality of production and improvement.....it’s really that simple

The only people that are not happy are those with narratives to worry about. We shouldn’t have paid dak, McCarthy is a terrible HC, etc.

Those who worry less about individuals on this team and just enjoy the ride of the organization as a whole are having a great time.

this is 6 games of 17 games season and weve been left disappointed more then i can remember,

wont be content or satisfied with a great regular season, nope no way..NFCCG or bust...

Tony Romo said he believes we are SB contenders, and could win it all.

Yes there are some issues, the defense can be exposed, they have a lot to clean up.
But 5-1, ENJOY it, dang, don't whine about it.

It's awesome to get a win but I still feel this looming doom over our collective heads because the HC makes the dumbest decisions I've ever seen in-game. He absolutely doesn't have in-game management worked out. I hope he does before a playoff game and it doesn't bite us then. It's got to at some point and to me it feels like it will happen in a big game when it is win or go home.

It is obvious some here enjoy whining during the offseason more than watching the team play real games. The offseason is longer so they have plenty of run way to piss and moan about every little detail and develop their narratives.

You can be both happy and still not be satisfied.. People who are critiquing with a fine tooth comb are feeling what this team is capable of.. which is winning it all. But you can't accomplish that if the mistakes continue. These mistakes will get you beat against a really good team. The Pats are not a good team.. but they are not bad.. They're a missed FG from beating Tampa.. and Miami.. So looking at them in a vacuum is a mistake. They're a team with a rookie QB that is learning and getting better.. But this is about the Cowboys.. They didn't play their best game.. but still won.. That's the stuff of champions..

i'm real happy about it, however in each game, there's been a lot to be desired. Most of the games were closer than they needed to be, and thats what still has me uncertain about the future. Credit to these guys who have been overcoming not just the other team, but the refs, and Mccarthys dumb decisions.

Happy but still cautiously optimistic with nothing to gripe about. Biggest win for me is Dak to this point. I have always felt the kid was good he just wasn't or would never really be elite. While there are many more big games to go hard not to tip the cap at this point. Yesterday this was a game the team of the past 25 years found a way to lose. Pretty refreshing despite the penalties, turnovers, and refs this team won. Enjoy the break and get back to it vs the Vikes.

Really really happy that we won the game despite MM and Connor Williams nearly blowing it for us.

One for folks who want to discuss the good and the bad.

For the record, I'm ecstatic that we are 5-1. Mildly surprised even. But I am also a person who sees things that worry me. I like seeing how other similar minded people see the details not just the outcome.

I felt more like 4-2, but felt 5-1 was possible with the right breaks.

Me as well. However I never anticipated MM being this bad with management. It will cost us eventually.
