Could TO's Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber help? I wonder if he still has it? Might be worth a call.

There is different grades of this. Could be 2 weeks and could be 10!!!
If it were a severe one with muscle tearing, the MRI would’ve picked it up and they wouldn’t be “optimistic” about a 2 week recovery. Probably going to be 2-4 weeks depending on how well he rests it and how he responds next week.

His masseuse will take care of everything. Maybe you should hire Emmitt Smith’s masseuse. He would get a rub down after every single game. A sports massage. Trust me they hurt. It’s not like the normal

Hopefully it’s not as bad as Michael Gallop’s calf strain he’s been out a few weeks. He wasn’t expected to be gone this long.

Man, I guess if this had to happen, what great timing for it with a much needed bye-week.

Our fans in this thread are just reaffirming what I already believe about the fanbase of the Cowboys. They are a bunch of idiots that will in the absence of real information more than willing to make it up and pass it off as factual. The Cowboys organization has done a good job of only providing information they want to be known to the public. Then the media runs with their own lies to the public. So the story we get is never exactly as things really are. Dak could be done for a while but that story isn't being told.

It's a calf strain. It sometimes heals in a few days, sometimes takes a few weeks.

Dak Prescott has a calf strain but there is optimism that he won’t miss any time
Fortune has seemingly smiled on the Cowboys as they do not have a game to play this week as a result of being on their bye. Dallas will next play next Sunday night on the road against the Minnesota Vikings (who are also on their bye), and even though Dak Prescott has a calf strain according to Mike McCarthy, there is optimism that he won’t miss any time.

This is a favorable report as nobody wants to see the Cowboys play in a game without Dak Prescott under center given the events of last year. Prescott said in the aftermath of the team’s win against the Patriots that he could have kept playing through the injury if he had to, and he did all of his postgame duties including an on-field interview with CBS as well as a postgame press conference. Generally speaking, when things are bad players don’t do those sort of things.

Or.....

You're dealt two aces, and an ace comes out on the flop. The turn the fourth ace comes out on the board. Reading the cards you see you have two fish hooked and ready to be battered in cornmeal and fried up for dinner.

Are you playing soft and showing you are not confident in your cards as they bluff that they have the aces?

Or are you on the table doing the Cotton-eyed Joe and whooping it up?

The Vikings are watching this closely. Which way would YOU play this to get the maximum yardage in the minds of the Viks?
Poker, a fish fry and some redneck music all referenced in one post?

Winner!

Hmmm, I really hope this is a mild strain. If he's even remotely close to not being 100% ready I say sit him vs. Minny. I'd rather lose 1 than 4 because he reaggravated it.

Dak said this would give the media something to talk about I guess fans included. MRI came back negative which is great, he stated the boot was precautionary. Will he be 100%? not sure but I fully expect him to ready to go vs Minn after the bye.
