I think so . . . also Cleveland is not as Bright as Dallas . . . coming here would do wonders for his legacy

Well, not only that, but he's got 0 chemistry with Baker. Partly because Baker seems to ignore him. Dak is a VASTLY superior QB to Baker, and I think he's even better than what Eli was in his prime. So, Dak would be the best QB he has had since he joined the league. That only means good things for OBJ come contract time.

I'm the poised voice of reason on this forum and it's a burden I carry quietly, without complaint.

How many times have I said: "No you don't give two first round picks for Jamaal Adams, you füül." "No you don't trade a third for a 37-year old cornerback, or a previously big-name DT, who now can't even get out of bed. Especially when this team is a .500 team. Have you looked at our cap!?"

I've beaten down so many childish trade suggestions I've lost count.

But when a window opens to win a Super Bowl...it's only reasonable to consider what pieces could take this team over the top, and how to make those trades possible.

Now, Cowboys nation, Now I say: Let the trade games begin.

Thank you for giving us the green light to talk trades.

The long term is much more important than going all in on this season! There’s a real window opening here.

Just a thought…. But….. What about Gallup for OBJ… might have to send a pick to Cleveland also. But think of how unstoppable the Offense will be. And I’m one who always cries the offensive side is fine. We need more defense.
Plus a pick??? Don't take this the wrong way, but are you nuts??? The last thing we need is a receiver. We are getting by just fine without Gallup, but we will be that much better with him. What he brings is a perfect compliment to what we already have. IMO OBJ pretty much isn't even as good as Gallup at this point of his career (when was the last time he has been good?) and is a potential attitude issue whether you want to admit it or not. But none of those are the reason this is a dumb idea. OBJ salary: $14.5M; Gallup salary: $2.4M; Cowboys cap space: around $4M. They'd have to give us OBJ and a really really great draft pick for Gallup.

I would agree that this year feels like the year to try and use future draft capital or unneeded players not expected back next year to go get a player or two that capsule help win it all this year. I would be up for using a 3rd-7th round pick to go get a legitimate NFL CB. Maybe even another front 7 defensive player if the right one for the right price was available. I would love to see them bolster the defense at the trade deadline.

The high performing draft picks on rookie deals are what allows us to have success while paying the QB 40 million.

We need to hang on to our draft picks.

We have plenty of returning players to add to the already very good mix.

OBJ is a selfish, self centered, seld serving, me first, attention hog player who is a locker room cancer. the best thing about this team is the locker room, lets not bring a piece of shiet like him to cowboys locker room and ruin something good....this is purely fantasy league move......for some fantasy points.....any help would be on defensive side. we have enough offensive power

No, just no. This team needs help on the defensive line.

Last year I suggested the Cowboys trade Gallup to the Chiefs for their number 1, because even when I looked at their offense it was all Hill and Kelce, they really have no other weapons. Their 3rd & 4th WR's are terrible.
There is still a team out there that will give us a 1 for Gallup ( the Chiefs are probably desperate enough to do it), either you think you can win the SB and keep Gallup because there is no way we can resign him and get some compensation. I think this team has enough weapons to win without him. This is team building, making the tough decisions.
Honestly I am in favor of adding to this team vs selling.

IF you can you upgrade the C, that will help with Williams, the gap between him and the C are where opposing defenses seems to target.

Ready for this one........sign David Irving. And I am serious. Wouldnt cost you any pick, and basically no money. He's worth the risk of just having to cut him. He could impact the game so much its worth a shot this early into this run.

No he may bring good weed into the lockeroom and mess up Gregory's MOJO

Here is what one must ask if you want to plant a flag on 2021 NFL Everest:

-Is Kazee a trustworthy centerfielder, or could he cost you the home-run heard round the world?
-If McGovern or Williams can't move to center and play it soundly...is there someone out there who can?
-Can a plug'n play Brown corner replacement be found? (the rook ain't ready folks)
-Osa and Neville should provide a high level rotation at the one tackle, what about the other tackle....the anchor?

Not related to trades, but vital: is there an effective and subtle pepper spray for refs w/an agenda?
On Kazee - he did it twice Sunday. He’s trash.

The pieces we could use to trade IMO are Connor Williams, Michael Gallup, Cedric Wilson, Blake Jarwin and Jourdan Lewis/Anthony Brown if you trade for a corner.

I wouldn’t trade for draft picks either, I’d want to trade with teams looking to rebuild and willing to give up guys that are foundation pieces for draft capital like the Cooper/Ramsey/Jamal Adams situation.

I’d be looking at Quinton Williams, Roquon Smith, Minkah Fitzpatrick, or maybe an aging vet target like Calais Campbell/JJ Watt were prior to their trades.

They're playing well as a team.

I don't think Tampa Bay would trade Vita Vea and I don't think any team would trade away an All-Pro Center.
