it is slander. 100% agree. The man is still learning the position, which is scary. He never played cb until Nick Saban had him switch from wr to cb in college. My GAWD...can we imagine how good he will be in year 3 and 4? Holy smokes guys. We have a special player on our hands. Tune out these idiots on TV. Btw, he didnt get burned against NE. That was on Kazee all the way. He was supposed to have coverage over the top bracket coverage. He took a piss poor angle. Diggs slowed so that Kazee would get the int. That was a mistake he made. 9-10 times that would be an easy int. Its a great learning experience.

He's not Jalen Ramsey but he's a young emerging great CB. These so called internet scouts and critics think it's normal for a 2nd year CB to have 7 INTs in 6 games or 11INTs in his last 10 games. He's basically on a historic run here. Similar to Micah Parsons, he's still a young player and figuring out the NFL. He's only going to get better. That's when you'll see him clamp down even more and not give up some of the yardage he may now.
He's on his way to being Darrelle Revis in year 3 (2022). He's putting teams on notice right now every week. Ramsey is very good but this cat may already be as good or better. I'm not shy about that. I been watching this game since 1973 and The kid has the goods and he brings it.

I think MM said both Diggs and Kazee thought the other player were going to get it, so they let up. One of those rare mental breakdowns at the worst possible times.
You have to credit the play call by the Patriots as well. Throw right in the direction of Trevon Diggs who probably was a bit more relaxed after intercepting the football and running it in the endzone for a touchdown. Psychologically he likely thought they wouldn't be crazy enough to throw in his direction again.

I thought it was a terrible pass. Both of them could or should have picked it off and it would have been game over. If Diggs didn't have safety help he goes up for the ball and gets back to back picks. That's why he was so frustrated, he let up because he assumed Kazee had it

I thought it was a horrible decision by Mac to throw that pass. 9 times out of 10 it is an easy INT for Kazee, but he had a mental break and it worked out. That happens sometimes.

its amazing that some cant take any criticism of any cowboy without getting defensive. I mean I don't think MC said anything outlandish and he didn't say that Diggs is horrible and cant get better. He said he can be feast or famine (I'm paraphrasing) Maybe it was the Winston reference. Ill take him just as he is because he is going to develop further and perhaps turn into a Deion type guy but i don't think he's shut down just yet but man i love watching him attack the ball. His completion percentage was surprising low which when watching him I didn't realize. he likes to trail receiver and bait the QB because he has great recovery speed which can lead to completions and first downs. I guess some folks just like arguing

Even Deion Sanders got beat. Deion's or Champs reputation has taken mythological jumps as shutdown corners. THey were the best at their position but they still got beat, not as often as other high caliber players but they still got beat.

Even the greatest players of all time miss a play. Diggs gave up a 75 yard TD. To my knowledge that's the only big play he's given up. So he's playing at an elite level. No player is perfect in every play of every game. Diggs is the man.

In another example Dak threw a pick in the endzone yesterday. He's still playing at an elite level. I think people forget that the other team has professional players too.
Unpossible only Dallas has professional players, and only they get paid....

Your first link is return yards. Your second one is about his passer rating allowed.
The PFR link is the only one related to the topic and it has him at 36th. The guy you're defending is saying he's first.

Way way too early for these kind of judgements for this young man.....but through 6 games, he’s the game changing MVP........at least for these 6 games.

3-3 without him and the inspiration he’s given this “bend and break” defense. He’s made up for their weakness

So we're not counting interceptions to trash on him?
agree. This might be the most disrespected sports franchise there is. To hear folks doubt Diggs after what he has done is astonishing. Furthermore, to see, listen to folks calling for MM to be fired during the bye week when we are sitting at 5-1, after the job he did getting this staff in here and assembling the players he has, is simply pure hatred. We gonna have to kick the door in and take the respect we are owed. No one gonna believe in us BUT US! Lets go all in guys!! BELIEVE IN MM AND THIS TEAMS TRAJECTORY. I believe. Its now or never...PS- Its comedy gold to watch Rex Ryan...a friggin clown of a former coach, sit up there and call out MM and his shortcomings when he aint EVER won anything as a HC HIMSELF. Meanwhile..let this sink in..Mike McCarthy as an assistant in his early days, has rings with the 49ers, and with the PACKERS!!!! Or des that not count for anything? Did he just luck into all that success? We are lucky to have this guy, flaws and all. Give me a guy like him that has the balls to believe in this team even when no one else will.I think THAT is the bond the players and him share. He is genuine. Unlike the previous coach. I'm done. Go Cowboys!

There is this narrative that is going around that T. Diggs is a feast or famine cb. It’s absolutely maddening listening to these idiots (mostly opposing fans) suggest that Diggs gets burned for big plays more often than he makes big plays.

These are some of the worst takes I’ve seen in ages. It’s starting to remind me of the Romo slander. Sure Diggs got beat (never should have been a td, but that’s beside the point) on the long td play yesterday but that’s like one of the very few big plays he’s given up all year. If anybody has some great Diggs stats to share, please do so.
Kazee was at fault on the 75 yard TD play.

The double-move had not impact on the play. Diggs easily caught back up to the WR and would have played over if Kazee was not there.

thats a true statement. He saved the NE game 4 us. The kid is getting better and better and hasn't played the cb position very long.

That's a lie.

I never said that. I said he gives up a lot of yards. I never said he is 1st in giving up yards.

Your emotions are causing you to be irrational.

I did post the wrong link but if you look on the PFR he's given up 248 in passing yards and you're right he's ranked 36th I guess I didn't notice him say 1st but i'm not going to dig through the thread. Point is folks tend to get butt hurt at any negativity at all. Now over the top negativity i get but i dint see that. and lets be real here Dallas pass defense is at the bottom of the league and if it wasnt' for the turnovers we very well could have more losses. In fact its almost guaranteed.

There's room for improvement.

You didn't notice me saying anything about Diggs being #1 in yards given up because I didn't say that.

He's lying because he's caught up in his feels about me saying that Diggs gives up yards, but he gets INTS and I can live with that.

This is from after last week, but before the game yesterday. Add at least 75 yards to that, because they count that TD on him whether we like it or not.

I mean, I can live with the yards as long as he keeps getting them INTS.

4th =/ 36th. Either way you're wrong like it's your job
