Is Daks calf strain a concern?

Having been in a walking boot a couple of time, I can attest to the fact that it makes you look worse than you are.
That’s good to hear. He had a limp coming into the locker room but leaving in the boot looked way worse. Sounds like there was no tear in muscle. See what happens. If he is a game time decision he will play. He has 2 weeks. If I am the trainers I would have him in therapy immediately to get the soreness out. That and rest.

Calf strains are easy to re- aggravate if not properly taken care of.

His must be super mild or he wouldn’t be walking.

Yea, I didnt even notice after the game . But I saw on Twitter where he actually needed help walking off the field. Hopefully it’s only a slight strain but not sure why this topic isn’t being well received .

It’s a hot topic locally in the press and media.
I saw him walking in and was holding up the number 1 to the fans and had a limp. Elliot came up and helped him. Leaving stadium he was wearing boot and looked worse but as some were saying the boot makes it look worse. Let’s get the soreness out and rest.

Hopefully that’s the case but it certainly brings some concern .

I’m not that familiar with calf strain but our paper this morning said that’s the same injury that’s kept Gallup out and Martin missed time last year.

No, my goodness people. He was walking on his own once the injury happened. Also the MRI was negative, there is nothing serious about it. Plus Dak said he will be fine. I've had a calf strain and I was fine after about 8 to 10 days. If it was serious like Gallup's, we would have heard about it after the MRI. But we didn't, because the MRI was negative. Chill out.

Awesome. I hadn’t see the MRI results yet. Wasn’t in paper this morning. Where did you get that info?

Dude, it's all over the internet lol. Negativity sells...this is probably why you never heard about the negative MRI results.

Ok. The MRI results confirmed he does have a calf strain. And they are optimistic that after a week of rehab he could be ready for next weeks game. They will reevaluate next Monday.
