I'd love to read your Tweets, do tell.
I don't tweet. It was someone else tweets that I posted.

I shared the tweet and then said that Diggs gives up yards, but gets INTs, and I can live with that. Then, as you can see, he throws an emotion filled fit about it.

He's allowed to, no worries.

What a lot of critics don't think about is yards would be a large factor if he wasn't getting turnovers. Which you said, and I agree.

There is this narrative that is going around that T. Diggs is a feast or famine cb. It’s absolutely maddening listening to these idiots (mostly opposing fans) suggest that Diggs gets burned for big plays more often than he makes big plays.

I hope NFL coaches and quarterbacks believe this. More balls thrown Diggs' way!

As far as being upset that fans are saying these things...dude, if this board has taught me one thing it is this: The opinions of worthless people are worthless.

Sure he is allowed, it's embarrassing as all get out, but it's his right.

Yeah. I don't mind the yards if the INTs come along with it. Our pass defense is horrible, but we're winning and forcing turnovers, so I can't complain too much.

But the tweet turned out to be wrong. Diggs does not give up a ton of yards. Especially not as compared to other corners. While I don't condone the visceral reaction to you posting it I would say that you should check the validity of these kinds of statements off twitter because that place is crawling with knuckleheads who will say damn near anything to get people to click on them. It's just not a reliable source.

From the convo in that Tweet, it looks like the author is including yards in a zone. Not sure how that's accurate.

Diggs does have a lot to work on. His ball skills are dangerous but he is ranking pretty low in a lot of other stats. He can be even better than he is, that's not slander, it's reality. According to PFF he is the worst CB in the league at Run Defense which drops his ranking quite a bit. I don't always like PFF but it does show when a player needs to work on things.

Just as an experiment, I went to this site: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/about/qb-rating.htm

I added 75 yards, two attempts and a completion, the int and the TD to Digg's 5 game stats, and his passer rating against rose to something around 44. This from 29.
If you take out his interceptions, it's a very pedestrian 84, but you can't really do that. You can't pretend that ints are not part of his game.

There clearly seems to be some dispute about Pro Football reference's numbers. Those are pseudo-stats as they are based on subjective evaluation of assignment. PFF and a considerable swath of other people have said Diggs is a "make-a-play, give-up-a-play" kind of corner. I haven't studied tape enough to have an opinion on his "shut-down" skills. Do love those game-changing picks.

Sorry, don't get me wrong, but that's nonsense.

Statistics can always be questioned. By the way they come about, how the results are interpreted, etc. But to say others have a different opinion, have not looked at any tapes, is exactly why you have statistics. Selective experiences are simply not meaningful.

Anyways, as i said, dont get me wrong. I love his picks and i love Diggs as a player. Still i wont call him a shutdown corner. I am just happy he plays good for us.

I just wanted to show what kind of crap is posted on twitter without any kind of source or prove. The guy said Diggs gives up 100 yds per game. And thats just a lie. Attention must be drawn to this. Such people need to be called out. Dont follow such people.

Not because of Diggs or the Boys. That is a fundamental matter. Let's support people who give us valuable information. Not just any people trying to set the mood!

He's the Jamies Winston of CBs.

He'll give up a ton of yards, but he might get a pick 6 too.
It's people like you that give him the bad name. That's not true. Stop spreading lies, even if you're being sarcastic, others think otherwise. If Diggs played for the Bills, NE, the Bucs, he'd be considered an elite CB, not a one-year wonder who gets beat all the time.

What do you mean exactly by “selective experiences”?

These are some of the worst takes I’ve seen in ages. It’s starting to remind me of the Romo slander. Sure Diggs got beat (never should have been a td, but that’s beside the point) on the long td play yesterday but that’s like one of the very few big plays he’s given up all year. If anybody has some great Diggs stats to share, please do so.

Who cares what they say? Would they take him? Everson Walls would get beat too. He got beat by that WR on Carolina a lot too, but the two picks he had were a game changer.

Settle down and breathe, bro. Your posts aren't coherent. I not only never said stats are unquestionable...I *wasn't even talking about stats*. You seem to be so worked up you are hyperventilating and driving off the road.

wow that's great. you question the stats I post with dubious justification:

and then you question your own statement:

but what you know exactly is how I feel at home when I respond to your statement.

I would think that if you continue like this, you are not one to be taken seriously.
but of course that's up to you.
