Zero heart, doesn't want to play....chasing fame.Last year in the league...

He does seem a little off. I think that traumatic injury coupled with the instant superstardom he got becoming a Cowboy messed him up mentally. The media hyping his abilities didn't help either. So many people live in a fictional world created by the media that it's scary,,, really.

I really dont get the whole class act thing. Jaylen seems to be the biggest narcissist in a league that is filled with them without any of the talent.

I guess it has more to do with him overcoming a devastating injury and actually getting to a point where he could play football again when most people thought he never would. You have to respect that desire and determination. Most people would have quit and given up. My ill will is not toward him. Mine is toward Jerry and company when they passed on an extremely talented, healthy Chris Jones and drafted him.

This X 1000!

I get it that people want to think it is the injury. It is NOT. He cannot play. PERIOD! I am sure he got away with a lot of things in college because he was just a superior athlete. That is why this is on the scouts and coaches. It is their JOB to determine if a guys game will translate to the next level.

Even with his injury...I betcha Jaylon could run a 40 faster than Dat Nguyen, Ken Norton Jr, Bradie James, Randal Godfreey or Sean Lee....but because he does not have the instincts of those LBers...he has ZERO impact. In fact, Bradie James was not athletic at all...and I am not saying Bradie James was Ray Lewis...but Bradie James was impactful because he could play. And of course Dat, Sean, Ken and Randall could play. Those guys were all better than Bradie. But Bradie made the most of his limited athleticism...because he could play.

I think there is some physical limitations with him. That said, I do think his general mental approach and lack of instincts associated with playing the position is what my criticism of him has always been about.

We all admire his tenacity in coming back, but that’s secondary to actually what he does when he’s on the field.

Kind of feeling sorry, something is not tight with his legs , he cant move sideways and its NFL , you need to be a super athlete to compete. But his head is what worse , what the heck he is thinking and filling the wrong holes and ‘look at the tape’ ‘elite’ comments.
