Wouldn't suprise me by next year he plays himself into a backup roll on some **** team and eventually fade out of the league

He must have real strength limitations on that knee or something, maybe not able to push through contact or something, his game tape is pure comedy

He wasn't magically going to change when he went to a new team. It's amazing they have actual football people that watched him and thought he'd be able to help.

From what I gather from their message board/blogs, they are desperate for linebackers due to injuries and certain guys underperforming.

I don't think its about saving his body. He couldn't even push the sled in training camp. He has no strength and power in that damaged leg and he fears he will get trucked and embarrassed if he takes on RBs head on in the gap. That will ruin his reputation and marketing ability going forward. He simply wants to run and chase and rack up tackles in the box score so he can claim he is still an elite player and be able to market his businesses. All of that goes away with 2 or 3 highlights on sportscenter of him getting trucked.
Just a reminder, I was calling-out his poor play dating back to 2019.

Yep and ALL of us with good common football sense witnessed his flaws back in 2018 when far too many pundits (including the FO) were high on hopium and a couple of splash plays. His play didn't warrant one penny beyond his rookie deal. Inexcusable by the Cowboys brain trust.

It's not physical, it's mental. He's unable to get his mind to work right. If you don't run right at him with a clear and obvious assignment he will struggle
No...it's physical. He's got a bum leg.....that's why he hops around. he won;t land or dig in hard.

Which DOES effect his mental game!

When you play hurt or otherwise incapacitated, you are thinking about how to not injure it or how to get around it instead of using your instincts.
