Speculation: Does Gallup make that crucial 4th n 4 grab?

Look at his stats with Dak playing last year? He had only one big game and that was the only game he had more than 2 catches in the first 5 games.
He was very good in 2019 because he was playing with Cooper.
Honestly the team does not want Dak throwing 40 + times a game like he was doing last year, this team has an amazing running game and amazing passing game with a legitimate TE. There are not enough balls to really utilize Gallup.

He had the catch and then the defender knock it out of his arms. In the breadbasket first before defender. I think it was a drop.

Wilson has played well but Gallup is better than Wilson. Notice we don't go deep as much since he's been out? That's because he's the best deep ball threat we have and the best 50/50 ball catcher also. I'm looking forward to seeing him back and see how the defenses try to stop us when we go 4 wide with Coop, Lamb, MG and Wilson.

Gallup is awesome.

Cedric Wilson is awesome.

This isn’t a situation of needing to cut down 1 for the other.

Also, if Gallup is playing it’s probably Lamb in that situation and not Wilson.


We have never got to see Gallup do much more than be the X wideout and this was supposed to be the year he lined up everywhere.

Weird comment when one of the reasons the 4th down catch in question was necessary was because of Cedrick's drop in the endzone. (Yes I know the DB swatted it. Still a drop.)

Gallup is by far a better WR and I wouldn't use the New England game to try and prop up Wilson.

This fan base, let me correct that, some people that post on this forum try so hard to downgrade our best players when they miss a few games. Sadly for them, many here watch all the games and know exactly how good Gallup is.

Maybe? Gallop not needed - if can get great trade for him do it. Say player and a 3rd.

Personally, I believe Cedric Wilson has more reliable hands than Gallup. Of course, Gallup has made some extremely difficult grabs, himself. It's just impossible to say what might have happened if Gallup had been the WR instead of Wilson, though. Only God, himself (or herself) knows that and he or she, isn't a member of CZ, to the best of my knowledge. ;)

As I predicted for this year, Gallup isn't compared to Cooper/Lamb anymore, he has to fight to keep his reputation above Wilson's.

Should have sold Gallup before that happened.

Remember a couple weeks ago when Wilson couldn't come down with that sideline pass in bounds and it was incomplete?
Gallup catches that all day long.
