We are.way past Irving. And he didn't make any noise with raiders.... He is done in The NFL but we fans on this board think that we bottled up their skills and they take a sip from the bottle when they walk through our doors and go back to being what they were...and he wasn't that great to begin with...

Everyone said same about Gregory before this season.

Irving is just a free look, not sure why this upsets so many.

FREE look.

Back in the day, we got Bernie Kosar. Cowboys need a legit backup. Go get Foles now.

There is still a team out there that will give us a 1 for Gallup

Gallup is only under contract for a few more months. No team is going to give up a 1st round pick for good (not great) rental receiver.

The pieces we could use to trade IMO are Connor Williams, Michael Gallup, Cedric Wilson, Blake Jarwin and Jourdan Lewis/Anthony Brown if you trade for a corner.

I wouldn’t trade for draft picks either,

Player for player trades are a lot harder to work out in the NFL. I agree with most of the names on your list, though.

I view draft picks as gold, but when you got an open SB window...you need to push more chips in.

This is easy.
Trade for Grady Jarrett and Matt Hennessey from the Falcons. Offer Bradley Anae, Carlos Watkins , Francis Bernard and a couple late round picks.
Resign Jarret to a 4 yr deal deal in the 7 to 8 million range.

Trading garage sale parts (Anae, Watkins, Bernard) for a good player is common fantasy. Never happens.

If we could trade DLaw and LVE for decent drafts picks I would do it.

I'd trade LVE, but I think the situation is a bit like Jaylon: likely no trade offers.

DLaw I definitely keep. All-around good player and he could play DT on passing downs, with Parsons playing DE next to him. Bring the heat!

Let someone get desperate or just keep him. This is not a zero sum type situation.

If any trade is to be made giving up draft picks, you wait for the trade deadline…

The NFL trade deadline is right after the end of Week 8. Serious trading season has commenced...2 weeks remain.

Not sure who could be had from the non contending teams

really need to shore up LB, S, LG, C. An elite edge player could put this team over the top.

LVE ain’t going anywhere......Heath gave him the blackmail photos of Jerry that kept him on the team for a decade

How about we just wait to some of our injured players come back, yeah?

Addition by subtraction maybe a good idea. Trade LVE for a late round pick so Cox can get more playing time. But other than that id like to wait on our injured players.

Why not just blitz Parsons up the middle on passing downs and keep what should be Diggy and Gallimore at DT and DLaw and Gregory at the DE's?

Move Parsons from side to side, the middle and change it up blitzing or covering. Leave Kean Neal in at LB and everyone else DB's.

At least we have some meat in the middle if they check out and run against us. LVE Stays in for running downs and 3 LB sets which we aren't running so often.

Just a thought…. But….. What about Gallup for OBJ… might have to send a pick to Cleveland also. But think of how unstoppable the Offense will be. And I’m one who always cries the offensive side is fine. We need more defense.
No! Last time y’all wanted to send a pick with Gallup was for Gilmore and the Panthers got him for a pack of newports.

I agree, although they are a bit easier when they are on rookie contracts and the cap impact is less of a factor.

LOL OBJ won't be a good fit for this team. Especially if we keep giving the ball to Elliott and keep passing the ball to the other players. OBJ will be pissed that he ain't getting the ball.
