I love Gallup but we are not going to see much of a difference in this offense - it will be marginal. Only so many balls to go around.

I see it like we're just fortunate to have the ample level of depth at most spots this year. If there's some we don't, may the incumbents stay healthy.

I think our players have more "balls" now than they've ever had -- that is, if you get my drift . . . :flagwave:  :starspin:

I've posted few times how MG reminds me of TG. They both play the game violent.

I disagree. I think you will see less Jarwin and Wilson and more deep passes IMO.
Well I meant in the grand scheme with points and yards. We already are averaging 34 a game which probably could be 40 if we had not shot ourselves in the foot so many times. He does throw deep down the sideline to Gallup more I will agree.

If we would just run more routes like the CeeDee TD in the red zone we would probably have a couple more TD's just by that.

To make matters worse his son passed as well. Tragic times for that family

Oh boy...When/How did that happen?? Jesus H, Prayers go out to the Glenn family. Absolute tragedy.

Football wise, Terry Glenn was an absolute monstrosity when healthy AND his mind was right (which was probably his bigger problem tbh). The guy was cat quick with some of the best hands ive ever seen, and it was truly a joy to watch him play potentially the best football of his career those 2-3 years for us. It's a shame though that he never got to really play with Romo. Lord only knows how much better that '07 team would have been had TG83 been healthy and available for a young gunslingin' Romo to use...

Yea, it's a sad story. Terry's mom was murdered when he was 13.
And he admitted that 10 of his family members/friends died from drugs.
He dies in large part to DUI from booze and weed and his son O.D. two years later.

damn :(

my wife passed from cancer not too long ago, and i fell into issues w/ booze as well. can eat you alive.

My condolences Proof.

I watched a few family members(grandpartents and distant aunt) go through cancer, some make it some not. It is to put it short, brutal. If it isn't the cancer that makes life hell it's the side effects from chemo.

I hope you are doing well these days.

I appreciate it. I'm doing better, thankfully. Have kids that need me more than ever, so had to man up. Devastating though. And you're absolutely right. My wife was a fighter though. She had a terminal diagnosis immediately, and survived another two wonderful years. Chemo was definitely brutal, but she'd have walked through hell and back for us. Made it all the more difficult when she succumbed.

I can get how it can break people. My grandfather at one point begged my mom not to leave the room when he was close to death and I don't think to this day she's grieved properly. Definitely changed her to a degree.

You're a good man and I hope nothing but the best for you and your family. I couldn't imagine the pain you felt and never would like to know.

I think Wilson is way more talented.

TG was one of my favorite players on those teams. Dude was an absolute stud. RIP TG
His ability to get in and out of cuts and not lose speed was unmatched. Please show me video of someone who did it better. It was beautiful to watch him run routes.

No, I don't mean from beyond the grave. But rember 2007? Glenn sat out almost the entire season with an injury, while TO and Crayton (yes, that Crayton) ate defenses alive. It seemed like there was a thread here every week asking when Glenn would be back in anticipation that our offense would be even more explosive. Now, this season, Gallup is out and we don't know when he will be back yet, but there is much anticipation about his impact when he finally gets back. Just another point of how this year feels similar to 2007 so far. But let's hope we get a little better ending to this season. ;)

I don't see any of these WR's giving up on a route like Crayton did.
