I’m looking forward to getting LC back. Steele has been a definite treasure of a find but he does have trouble blocking in pass protection. Judon was giving him fits. We have found our swing tackle though.

Collins and Martin on the right side will be a nightmare so long as we know Collins came back to play. The way he missed last season and then got suspended could make this topic irrelevant.
.
The much bigger question is can La'el be trusted to take care of his business?

I rewatched the game today and Judon got the best of Steele on at least a dozen rushes. Only Dak's athleticism kept it from being a sack. Count me in the camp that can't wait to get Collins back. People need to just accept that the borderline all pro is better than the inexperienced but scrappy kid..

Judon has gotten the best of most right tackles. There is a reason he has over 5 sacks. Dak is the best out of pocket in the league right now and I have to attribute this to McCarthy's training Dak to passing outside the pocket during the offseason.

If they are truly going to put the five best on the field, I think you put Collins at guard and keep Steele at tackle.

Philbin pointed out Steele has not taken a single snap at guard since he has been here. Collins has played a full NFL season at guard.

I personally think Collins is a very good tackle but he might be that much better at guard. He would be a massive upgrade from CWill. It would give us 4 massive road graders on the line and Biadasz is that much more protected.

Sure would be fun to watch.

Love when the Fuzz posts.
What about the option of leaving La'el at RT and putting McGovern in at LG?

I think there must be a reason for the coaching staff to not make the move, but I can't fathom what that reason is.

Steele has done a great job and deserves credit, but he is not on Collins level.....I think he will really be an upgrade.
Let’s see. I know he got paid for a reason. If Williams keeps getting holding calls maybe we can move Steele over there if he can play that position..

I don't think there is that much difference between Williams and McGovern or Biadasz. All are going to have problems with top NFL power hat on hat but can compete in the NFL. Collins definitely has better feet and punch. His short area power is remarkable.

Smith Collins Biadasz/Williams/McGovern Martin Steele

The ceiling on that is as good a ceiling as there is. 2 all pro and 4 pro bowler type performance. It would make a great story.

Have we all just forgotten about McGovern? He's a true guard.
Great idea. Do me a favor and give them a ringy ding over at the star and let them know when Williams starts holding every other play to put him in and sit Williams for a minute. Give him a time out. Some of the calls last week was legit. Some were ticky tacky. If the refs are looking for a flag to throw. Lol.

we shall see some fans need a reminder.. the same can be said with gallup to Wilson but theres a differnce..enough that they both deserve their jobs back but thank them for doing their job to the best of their ability while the guys were down..

The difference is Gallup was the no. 2 receiver and Wilson has been playing no. 3 or 4 behind Coop, Lamb, and Schultz. I don't want to take anything away from Wilson because he has been playing lights out, but if we are starting Lamb and Wilson with Coop out, this offense isn't nearly the same.

Keep seeing people saying Wilson is already better than Gallup even though he is playing WR no. 3 or 4. We need to trade Gallup for a high draft choice. As things stand now, this isn't the year to be trading top tier talent. Cooper has been injured since game one.

I just grabbed the Yellow Pages for their number.
