Baltimore is bad but not as bad as Philly. Balt can’t top Kensington Ave yet. Yet being the operative word.

I live outside Baltimore. Haven’t been to the city in 5 years at least. It’s bad. Real bad.
I only go into baltimore for the Larry Flints Hustler Club but feel much safer at Fantasies out in Curtis Bay.

Having just left that city,

I also lived outside of the city in the suburbs for years. Prior to us relocating to the DFW area in the last year, trips to the city were on a last resort basis. It’s really gone downhill the last few years and it’s unfortunately making its way to the counties.
That is the policies of the state that do that, and think that my walking the lines for the admins.

I disagree....I lived in Baltimore for a decade and went to college at John's Hopkins.

The city has degraded so much over the years and the crime has over run even the nice areas like canton...it's unfortunate bc the inner harbor was so awesome around the early 2000s and things got much worse.

Still a cool city but it's rough....can't beat a crab pretzel from dockside!
The tried to clean up the areas around Hopkins but it only has gotten worse with better looking buildings.

Exactly, if it was about the area, he doesn't have to live in the area, Annapolis is 20 mins away. DC is 15 minutes away, Howard County is very nice and 15 minutes away.

I know he is Pro athlete but even areas like Columbia is not some shining beacon of civility. I graduated from a Columbia HS. I could take anyone on a tour of the areas you avoid. The crime stats for columbia are a farce. crime in columbia is based on crime around the mall and waterfront which has very little in the way of residential, once you move off that little postage stamp it isn't "Columbia" anymore.

Not believing until I see some pictures :)

Been about 30 years since I’ve been in a club. Good times. Especially that Canadian club right across the border from NY. Maybe called The Body Shop. Can’t remember. The Molson beer tasted good too.

Columbia is fine too, Oakland Mills and the Westlake areas aren't great, but their not bad either, I just moved from Columbia, down the street from Merriweather Post Pavillion had no problems. Which Hs you graduate from Long Reach ? Howard? Oakland Mills and Westlake are the not so good schools

There's plenty residential down by the mall and the community college

Curtis Bay is on the outskirts and close to Glen Burnie which is not a great area.

I think he wants to stay A Cowboy. Hoping ravens release the waiver since they got someone else.

They got someone else on their practice squad and still don’t have 53 players on their roster yet (they might once some of their 15 IR players come back). They could wait him out indefinitely especially as he doesn’t take up a roster spot or salary until he reports.

When is theater time you been to Baltimore, my son goes to Mount St Joseph private school, I go to Bmore everyday, there are nice areas and bad areas like anywhere.

Hate to tell you but Baltimore is a very unsafe city, amongst the worst in the US, and i was back in Baltimore last year.

Not only do i know how dangerous it is from personal experience - had two classmates murdered my senior year, multiple fraternity members mugged, multiple break ins, i have seen muggings in broad daylight, watched a cabby bludgeoned in front of my house at gun point, and the list goes on and on.

I have lived in major cities - Atlanta, Dallas, Pittsburgh and Charlotte all in addition to Baltimore and the danger and crime in that city are amongst the absolute worst in the country, especially when compared to "major" cities

Baltimore is routinely ranked in the top 5 most dangerous cities in the US, amongst the likes of Detroit and St. Louis

The murder rate is ridiculous - in 2021 running 2nd only to St. at 51 murders per every 100K people...

I know plenty of cops on the force and have heard enough stories to know as well as what i have seen with my own two eyes.

Sure there are bad areas everywhere, but Baltimore has many more of them than most cities - and i lived there for a decade by Hopkins, in Canton, Fells Point and in Highland town

He probably wants to stay out of Baltimore for his safety

Yeah...THAT'S it. Beautiful city, been there a few times. If you ever stop being afraid of your shadow you should try it. Never had a negative issue with anyone. Try the crab cakes brah.

Even PS players are compensated well what’s he thinking ? Is there a big market for Brandon Knight to hold out ? Say what you want about the “ city of Baltimore “ it’s not like he’s living down the block from the stadium for Pete sakes .

And doesn’t the fellas on the playoff squads share in the Pete Rozelle playoff trust fund , the deeper your team goes the more the checks are worth. This is a new one on me , PS talent holding out. Curt Flood he actually had a decent career holding out to sacrifice
