If you're saying the Giants have a strong roster, please tell me who they are.

Here are their current offensive starters and backups - since you don’t know - littered with first and second round draft picks, as well as highly-paid free agents.

Still not enough to overcome the Garrett Effect.

Their best player played in what, 2 games last year? Jones is bottom of the stats in most categories.

And who is Jones’ main coach? A former quarterback reportedly good with quarterbacks. Clearly a falsehood, being proven every week.

He doesn't have half the team he had in Dallas when he left.

Once again, some people want to blame another crop of players for a crap coach.

*** are you talking about? He had the roster in Dallas to win and he didn't. Being good with QBs doesn't mean he can turn water into wine.

Still haven't listed those studs he has in NY. No QB, no RB, and Golloday wouldn't be a WR2 in Dallas.

Did you even read my post?

I did. I guess you didn’t bother to check out the link in mine. Do the homework then come back and talk.

They have too much talent to be THAT bad

The O line is horrible the featured back is hurt more then not the WR Corp is ordinary and they gave Golladay a laughable huge pay day . And really Daniel Jones at this point doesn’t need an extension off the rookie deal I’m not sure what they do with him . Garrett has that team right about where they belong bottom of the barrel .

YOU HAVE NO BRAIN CELLS. I NEVER SAID JG WAS A GOOD COACH.

No. You tried to give him the excuse of not having talent to work with in New York.

Something patently untrue.

Check your own ‘brain cells’ when you’ve finished throwing your tantrum.

The Giants were 12-36 the three seasons before Garrett got there. Their last five drafts have been littered with average talent. Eli Apple #10, Evan Engram ? Their last three, all top 6 picks, Andrew Thomas, Jones and Barkley, all pretty average, or injured. They passed on QB Josh Allen and Justin Herbert, thank god. Even their defense has regressed from last year. Their a mess and it starts with the GM and the always angry former special teams coach who's clearly over his head. They're probably going to clean house after this season.

AND drafted Randy Moss AND Tony Gonzalez over Greg Ellis and David LaFleur.
Call me crazy, but isn't this a little speculative?

You could be right about Gonzalez who went 13th overall in 1997. I mean, he never reached the Dolphins picked at 15. But it's also not like he Dallas passed on Gonzalez, who originally had the 25th pick, but traded up to the 22nd LaFleur after Gonzalez was LONG GONE. So ya Miami was MUCH closer (2 picks away), and did not make a move for Gonzalez, but somehow we would have made the move being 12 picks away? Call me skeptical. Not impossible, but it doesn't seem likely.

As far as Moss is concerned, in the 1998 draft the Miami Dolphins had the 19th pick in the Draft and Randy Moss WAS on the board for their pick (Moss went 21st overall). But the Dolphins decided to trade down with GB for GB's first and second round picks (#30 and #60). So even Jimmy Johnson passed on Randy Moss at 19 overall. Are we so sure he picks Moss at 8th overall? Again, call me skeptical. Not impossible, but it doesn't seem likely.

I'm not trying to say Jimmy was a terrible HC, because he wasn't and is at least in the conversation for best Dallas HC ever.

But your statement here is just .... how to put this nicely ... completely full of revisionist history and seems to deviate from any factual evidence.

No need to try and make things up to make Jimmy look better. We all know he was a great HC for Dallas.

I’m setting you straight regarding where the offense has plummeted under Garrett. Shurmur had them in the teens while Garrett has them at the bottom of the league.
