Moore becoming HC would be like Garrett in 2010

So, he waited until year 6 of his career to start doing this......... and the improvement in his running just happened coincidentally after a game where Pollard had more touches and played better than him.

This narrative might make more sense if it were true.. Since coming to Dallas the only game in which Pollard has had more touches than Zeke was the game Zeke missed.. Don't take my word for it.. go look it up.. Then come back with another narrative .. Zeke is running better for a number of reasons.. One, he's healthy..some that we couldn't say for much of last year. Two, his line is healthy.. see number one.. Three his QB is healthy.. see one and two.. Four, using Pollard is keeping him fresher.. Five, Moore is running him out of shotgun a little less. Still more than I would like but less than last year to my eye.

I have no patience for liars and con men.
Nor should you. I still would like to see any actual evidence to back up your claims that MM is "chomping at the bit to take over the offense" though.

Calling someone a liar and con-man does little to help your case. Just sayin'.

Judge him by his own words and actions then.

I don't know, he sure seems to be doing the right things since he has been in Dallas.
And since I don't give two craps about the Packers, and it is a different situation (unless Jerry owns GB too?), I'm good.

all of these guys have had much longer coaching experiences.....McVay was coaching for a long while for different position before he ascended. Peyton was actually OC in NY before he got canned by Fassel (idiot). Kingsbury was head coach in college for several years...before he got to NFL. same with Rhule.

Moore has all of 3 years coaching experience.....there is a lot to learn......

McCarthy has been coaching in NFL for almost 3 decades.

Yet he still hasn't figured out managing game clock.

And in almost 30 years of experience, MM never fielded an offense as balanced or as innovative as what KM has shown in just 3 seasons.

Prior to MM becoming HC for GB, he was a QB coach for 6 seasons and OC for 5 seasons.

Are you going to hold it against KM that he matriculated up the ranks more explosively than MM?

That's like doubting the intelligence of 15 year olds who graduate with doctorates.

Or begrudging Homo Sapiens just because they eventually displaced Homo Neanderthalensis.

Zeke was elite his 1st 3 seasons.

He leads the NFL in total yards since he entered the league.

Is that you're idea of underperforming?

Your standards are ridiculous.

Zeke ran for 4.0 a carry last year. That is not elite. His best year remains his rookie season, and until recently hadn't broken off a run of more than 35 yards in 3 years. Pollard easilly replaces his production when given opportunity like we saw against SD. Those are facts. Personally, I think Zeke is overpaid and 2 dozen backs in this league could match his production in this offense.

In 2007-2010, Garrett was one of the hottest OCs in football and many Boys fans wanted him to replace Wade. He did, and.......well, you know.

Moore may not be the same as the Clapper but his OC skills by no means translate to being a good HC either.
Take a look at the NYG offense. It's the worst in the NFL.

Yeah but the Giants are down Barkley, Shepherd and one other receiver, two starting offensive linemen and they are stuck with Daniel Jones at QB. It's not even a fair fight..

Garrett doesn't have the mentality to be a head coach. He wants to be everyone's buddy and there was a no accountability culture that was built by him and is somewhat still in place a little bit today. Although we have seen that shift with the release of Jaylon Smith.

That's whys somebody like Jason Witten was allowed to play until a new coaching staff took over. I mean Witten literally decided to retire, take a year off, come back, and immediate take 90% of the snaps again. All because he was Garrett's buddy.

I don't know what kind of mentality Moore has when it comes to stuff like that. I don't know if he's a buddy buddy type of coach or if he's more of an accountability type. I can't get a read on him. He just seems like a quiet dude.
Moore is not ready to be a leader of men, yet....he will be soon, if he continues on this path. I hope he's a better man than Garrett and doesn't back stab his head coach for hi opportunity.....I don't really care for HCs calling plays on offense or defense....I did it early in my career, I actually called every play my first year as a HC.....it s tough on that level and, I imagine it's much tougher at the NFL or NCAA level. Too many things to worry about when you are a HC.....Im glad MM has three quality coordinators, that leaves him time to oversee all phases and yes, mess up some clock management from time to time! Lol

Or he could be Sean McVay.

Or Sean Peyton.

Or Kliff Kingsbury.

Or Matt Rhule.

This is a completely different person and situation from Garrett or anyone else.

Stop fearmongering and trying to gaslight people.

You know nothing.
Well dayum!

Hit the nail on the head though.

It would really suck to be as negative and miserable as some people in this forum.

Situations are different as night and day.
2010 Cowboys crashed and burned from the start - winning just 1 game in the first half of the season (while losing Romo in the 6th game the rest of the year to injury). After a 7-45 beat down on national TV (NBC Sunday Night Football), Wade was fired and Garrett was named interim HC by Jones. After the Cowboys went 5-3 the rest of the way, the interim tag was removed.

Moore's first opportunity to become an NFL head coach is going to occur after a very good (so far) 2021 Cowboys regular season and probable playoff berth. And it will come under the scenario of a couple of teams interviewing him during the postseason run.

I completely disagree.

KM is leading men RIGHT NOW.

And as a former QB, he has been a leader for much longer than other coaches.

Leadership is intrinsic to the QB position.

And Kellan was a winner and heck of a QB in college and at lower levels.

And it was because of his creativity and ability to see and process quickly.

It certainly was not because of his arm strength.

People can laugh at Garrett but he is not the HC. Frankly there is not much on that offense to begin with. Best player still trying to come back from knee injury and the QB was in NY before Garrett got there. As Bad as Jones is, he is actually having his best season thus far in his career. Fact is there is a lot of things wrong with NY and last time I checked Garrett was not the HC of that team.
