After watching Browns vs Broncos on TNF, our depth is a real luxury, I'm walking back my earlier opinion we should trade our depth players ... This is going to be a long season and might be our best chance at a title... We don't know what this team looks like next year

We have so many weapons on offense, I'd trade him for a defensive player.

It’s not stating that anything is in the works, but it’s suggesting he would be the likely candidate.

If it were to happen, I don’t think we would be looking for draft picks.

ModEdit: edited click-bait article title to make it accurate and included quote

Todd Archer, who’s covered the Cowboys for many years, had this and more to say about Gallup:

“The Cowboys wouldn’t want to do this, but Gallup has not played since the opener because of a calf injury and is in the final year of his contract… Given the talent in the group, the Cowboys might be able to get something in return, but they wouldn’t want to walk away from Gallup.”
We have been all over this for two weeks he must be reading the zone for stories

At this point unless someone just blows you away with an offer, you hold onto Gallup. Create some 4-wide sets. Allow more rest in game for Amari and CD. Insurance in case one of Amari or CD go down. More value to hold into him and try and make the deepest run possible.

I like the fact that Maliek Turner had a ball thrown to him in the end zone vs NE. Seemed open as well. As Cedric Wilson gets more snaps plus you have a bushel of receivers in the off-season pushing for a roster spot you have Noah Brown catching just about anything thrown to him the receiver spot is nice and deep.

I don’t think Wilson & Gallup are both on the roster past this year. I love Wilson’s speed, that 4th down catch vs NE kept the game from going into the L category .

These type of articles reinforce players getting their value or going somewhere else.....the Man got hurt and is rehabbing under the supervision of staff. Injuries happen. We've seen players on this team get hurt and all we hear is "leadership", "great teammate", "accountable" and not a word of placing on the trading block. Gallup deserves better than this.

They will need him for playoffs. 3 WR sets using Coop and Gallup with Lamb is money. Now think 4 WR adding Wilson who has gained some great experience so far. Goes from dangerous to impossible.

But is it based on collected intel (truthful research) or just a guess? If it's a guess, it's just BS.

In case you can't tell, I'm a big fan and hope the Cowboys keep him.

Chuck there was NO intel in that little blurb of a paragraph about Gallup. Archer actually said that “The Cowboys wouldn’t do this, but…..). It’s all written off of hypothetical conjecture.

You trade guys…… Gallup and Collins will make us the best offense in league. Gallup opens up the whole field. While Collins at tackle allows Martin to help the center out. A draft pick does nothing for the Cowboys Super Bowl run.

The way this team is playing it has to be about this year right now

They need some clicks regarding trading and the Cowboys so they came up with this bull crap and published it.
LOL. You calling anything else "click bait" is the definition of the pot calling the kettle black.

It's neither. It's just beat writers picking out a player that might make sense to get traded. Archer basically lays it out by saying Gallup is not getting traded but it might make some sense if they did if they get good return because they have an embarrassment of riches at WR right now.

You guys really made this out to be something it wasn't.

I love draft time but what I have learned these last few seasons you have to have different plans when you draft. The Cowboys during the last two drafts did a great job of adjusting their plans. The Cowboys have appeared to draft 3 all pro players in the last two drafts. I don’t think any team can do better then that. Parsons, Diggs, and CeeDee.
