This is actually the second time he's addressed this. The first time he pretty acknowledged we'll probably lose Kellen, saying they wanted to take the advantage of him while he's here.

Did not read the entire thread, JJ should really keep Moore.

If Moore were to get a HC position there is a good possibility that he takes Nussmeier with him as OC.

If Jerry wants to win a Super Bowl before he dies, his best chance is to keep this group together as long as he possibly can. Jerry should just open his checkbook and pay Moore, with the understanding that he would be the first in line to take over for MM when he leaves.

Jerry can block it if he's under contract but I checked and it appears he may have signed a new deal in 2020 when took over as QB coach after Jon Kitna left. If that's the case position coaches usually standard two-year deals which means his could expire after this season. So you could very well right but if he's given a choice to follow Moore or stay as Cowboys OC, I wonder what he would do.

Unfortunately it doesn’t matter what we think . These other franchises are looking for top coordinators to promote . And like Romo said Sunday if Cowboys continue having this level of success on offense he’s going to become a hot commodity. That’s just the nature of the business.
Oh I don’t think we are the only ones who think that. For instance if a job comes down to Brady or Moore? I think most teams would chose Brady. I’m not buying the hype on people wanting him to be a head coach yet.

McCarthy takes over play-calling. Simple as that. He was the play caller when GB won a Super Bowl, so... And for all of those people that would whine saying, well it's not Moore's system, well, MM has Moore's playbook with the Cowboys right now.

I don’t think naming Moore Assistant HC is going to protect him. I’ve seen this proposed a bunch. A coach under contract can’t interview for a lateral move without permission. The Assistant HC trick would keep Moore from interviewing for other OC positions but a HC would still be a step up. The only way to keep Moore is by promotion to HC or higher or by using straight cash, homey.

that is what I said

In most off seasons there are about 25% of the league looking for a HC so there would be room for several new HC’s.

We all are entitled to our opinions but Im more apt to follow those insights and instincts closer to the game like Romo and others than some fans.

Jerry has no issue of opening the check book, there is no cap involved with coaches. The notion because Dallas does not go after bit ticket FA has everything to do with the cap and how they see it not only within a single year but the impact of that over the following years, in terms of being cheap? Jerry has never really shown that in anything he does. I'm sure Jerry will do what he can to keep Moore, as for who Moore would take in terms of assistance we have no clue, matter of fact we have no clue if Moore has any intentions of leaving the Cowboys next year. We are just speculating on a "what if" and I can tell you there are a lot of "what if's"

I don't see Moore or Quinn leaving this early. Possibly after next season.

Its not like Quinn's defense is top 3 in the league. Moore has a distinct chance of being swiped up but I dont see it next season.

Romo’s opinion on a telecast isn’t anymore valid then yours lol. He’s trying to fill time.

Maybe we could bring Garrett back as OC. Lol
It is his offense afterall Moore is using.
There is no comparison between Kellen and Jason. There is however a close resemblance to JG and MM since both suck at clock management, in game decisions, and when and when not to go for 2 point conversions and 4th down.
