He is bad. At least one call against him every game I have watched. He kills drives.

Major drive killer but somehow he's a good player. He's good at pulling, I'll give him that. He's also good at holding at the worst possible time. He needs to be riding the bench. He's unacceptable.

He is good for his size. But He's not big enough to handle the big Brahma Bulls inside. Just a fact.
Ron Leary could not handle quick DT which would you have, there are far fewer true bull DT like Cox and Hargraves than quicker 3T. If there were easy to find Dallas would have found one by now.

Connor Williams is quite replaceable. It may be just a matter of time before it occurs.
Maybe sooner than later?! I'm a bit befuddled he's lasted this long, t/b honest.

The preponderance of harsh penalties being assessed on him gives me palpitations.
Yet Hes not!

befuddled, why ?? because your super awesome coaching of pro football players has been career move of yours..hows that career going? remind me who you are to the NFL scouting department maybe? gm? OL coach lmao

The point of the video is quite the opposite..

yes the penalties are issue but fans are picking 2 plays maybe 3 out of SIXTY snaps that's 60

so he may not be PB player but hes solid starter sure you dont pay this player big money but those are NOT easily replaceable by just anyone..

look around he league Cwill what most normal starters look like.. just because we have 2 HOF PB players and another PB RT in Collins around him and got used to these type of OL in our past

ALL FIVE (5) OL cant be PB types for sure not HOF types..hes ben overly judged buy his much better OL next to him..

He will get paid handsomely on the open market, he is in the tier right under Martin and Scherff

well unfortunately as much as i agree his issues are overblown and he will get paid we most likely need to get Conner McGovern in there cheaper..too many large deals on offense already., have to manage the cap and McGovern is ready and will be more ready NeXT year..i doubt they keep him for cap reasons..

It's the Doug Free syndrome. When there is nothing legit to pizz and moan about, pick on the weakest link. Most teams in the NFL would be interested in acquiring C.W. He is a solid player and steadily improving.
After 4 seasons he is what he is - a subpar LG.

You can do better than Williams, but it's hard to find that. Lot more likely that you will do worse.
We don’t know because we’ve never sat him to see who else can do better in there. Real head-scratcher for me.

Too many have excess of wealth syndrome with the OL. 3 1st round picks and Collins would have been so make that 4. First OG to make All Pro in his rookie year since 1947.

The Cowboys need to address the LT spot before any other on the OL and if Big Smitty goes another season, that's fine, got some depth.

The team is going to have to have some just good players because of how they pay the stars and while Williams hasn't come on like they planned, he has improved and if you watch those times he gets bull rushed, it is his technique and leverage point. But let's be honest, some of those behemoth DT's are going to bull rush any interior OL. We do not see how many times they get beaten unless that player gets a sack or tfl.

If you look back on McC's time in GB, you will see a mixed bag of OL and one thing he understands as well as any HC, they need more than 5 of them.

He might not be as bad as people think but in the end, it doesn't matter...he won't be re-signed here long-term. Along with Gallup, this will be their swan song. Enjoy them while they're here!

Who are we blaming for his penalties?

Also, when I watched the NE, he got quite a bit of help from Smith.

The Cowboys didn't see Rashawn Slater as a tackle either. But if you have the feet you don't necessarily need the length. I don't think La'el is particularly long either.

Conor has been here a few years already. I am pretty sure they have tried playing him at T at least a few times in practice/camp and whatnot. If they saw the potential, he'd play there at least as a backup swing T and let McGovern come in as G or something like that. Coaches/Scouts have been good here with finding potential in the OL. Steele being the most recent example.

Solidly average. He’s not starter material - he’s a good back-up. We need to upgrade his spot and move him to the bench.

Sub Par do you know the meaning of what Par is? He is actually above Par he isn't Zack Martin but many are not. He is solid to almost Pro Bowl Caliber.

Solid player but he won't get a new contract here unless he takes a major hometown discount. highly unlikely.

He seems like a G and T tweener. doesn't have the length for T and doesn't have the strength for G. I think if he were a viable T, he would have been playing it in some form or fashion long ago, at least as a backup option to shift to if someone went down.
He won’t take a home town deal because teams know he’s a very solid player and he’s gonna get paid like one
I think fans under estimate how solid he is but you don’t give second contracts to good players, just elite players so we should move on just like with Gallup and others
Pay the Martin type players and draft well enough you have a replacement for the good players waiting in line
The guard position is one of the easier positions to draft good players

I understand Williams had some penalties. Wilson had a dropped TD, Dak had a fumble and a pick.

Wilson had some clutch plays, Dak played lights out otherwise, Conner - from that film looked pretty good to me. Can't happen every game for sure......

Don’t be that guy. Don’t be the guy who can’t handle when someone asks you to prove the claims you made……it comes off as childish.
I proved it. It was in the highlights video I provided. Plus, like I said, if you watched the game, you would have known. A total of 4 times throughout the game (in between the 20s and at the goal line). You simply refuse to accept it.
