It’s the bye week and I feel like this needs to be pointed out. I’m sure everyone knows it by now but it’s incredible what he is doing.

These QBs are getting rid of the ball quick or he would have a ton of sacks right now because he is shedding guys and closing on QBs quick.

Also he is great in the run game. The guy is just performing like an elite edge rusher.

He is easily this teams #1 FA priority this off-season and far and away our best DL.

If Lawrence is anything close to Gregory when he gets back then this defense is going to be nasty.
Tank has been just a guy ever since he signed his contract. Let’s hope that his pride kicks in from watching the team perform well without him in the lineup. I think he still has some skills, he has just coasted after he got paid.

I agree from a production standpoint.

I still think he has some juice and I do see other teams putting a lot of focus on him at times.

So.. With all of the pass rush help we have now he is either going to get better matchups for himself or others which would make the team better.

Everybody is down on DLaw, but I think now that Gregory is starting to heat up, you'll see things open up for Lawrence. He really hasn't had anybody else on the DLine to help take attention away from him in quite a few years.

Plus he has never played under Dan Quinn, who has these guys firing. :D

This was the guy a year ago. If he starts getting less attention he should be a huge boost to the defense. If he starts getting a ton of attention he should be a huge boost to the rest of the defense.

His contract may be awful but he’s still an above average DLineman and at worst our 2nd best DLineman.

We all heard during camp how well he is was playing, the same things we heard about Gallimore prior to his injury and we know, if healthy DLaw is a quality player. Got to get the group healthy and see what happens!

Agreed! It'll be nice to get him back. Fun video, thanks for the link.

I have been hearing nothing but excuses for Tank. He is paid to perform. It’s time he earns that contract instead of dragging the average down.

I was on the bandwagon early in the season. I thought they should have already discussed a contract to sign him before the season is over. Or at least try and do that.

He will fetch top dollars when the season is over and we can't fit him within the cap.

Dallas will keep him. They didn’t go through all of that just to let some other team reap the rewards.

He appears to have found his groove. We've seen flashes of it before, but he's doing it with consistency now. Of course, it's possible that he wasn't able to consistently be there because Nolan wasn't being consistent with his snaps. Some players get on a roll the more that they play.

I know some are going to worry about re-signing him, but that will be a good problem to have if he can keep up this level of play. Won't be surprised if his numbers get even better when Lawrence returns. Having him on the other side is a major step up from players like Golston and Basham.

Randy needed a coach that was gonna invest in him ... Jim Tomsula was not at all gonna do that.
He was more committed and bias towards his guy Aldon Smith... - while Randy received only a mere 11 snaps vs Baltimore.
Reports were management was furious about that,... and could not wait to show Tomsula the front exit window head first ...and yes, Nolan as well.
