I thought they should have cut ties years ago.

Glad they didn't, I was wrong.

Let's hope we don't have to wait years to get that sam level of production from Joseph.

Edit: just want to clarify, Im not referring to Joseph as if he's got substance abuse issues. I compare him to Gregory because he's also a 2nd round pick. My brain was thinking"hey, Diggs and now Gregory, if Joseph pans out we may break the 2nd round curse"
I feel like I just read a disclaimer on a pack of cigarettes

Gregory is showing us he has the great potential to be a stud, to be elite … but I don’t like slapping a elite, monster label until he’s brought all this over a full season basis ..
Also I want to see Gregory against the better noted pass blockers, the All Pro and Pro Bowlers .. and keep in mind that he is still developing, he hasn’t had full season experience.

- But believe it or not, Randy is the teams most Natural pure pass rusher. Even over DLaw. who has to put more into it when it comes to techniques and hustle. Whereas the physical gifts
Gregory has make it look easier and effortless. Randy has a great first step, and extremely agile, especially in the way he can bend and contour on the move. And he has length.

- And I believe He can be ,,will be a much more complete player than what Robert Quinn was.
Quinn in a 4-3 scheme was an elite edge rusher (once collected 19 sacks) but he was a weak run defender. Gregory is actually underrated as an run defender.

- Another great element about Gregory's ability is, he can be comfortable either standing up as a pass rusher .. or he can put his hand in the dirt in a 3 point stance.
The flexibility is astounding. If he continues to develop, and he continues to have the right coach, right scheme, right surroundings, and durability is also on his side.
..i really believe he is going to be an All pro in the near future.

It’s the bye week and I feel like this needs to be pointed out. I’m sure everyone knows it by now but it’s incredible what he is doing.

These QBs are getting rid of the ball quick or he would have a ton of sacks right now because he is shedding guys and closing on QBs quick.

Also he is great in the run game. The guy is just performing like an elite edge rusher.

He is easily this teams #1 FA priority this off-season and far and away our best DL.

If Lawrence is anything close to Gregory when he gets back then this defense is going to be nasty.
Agreed and like osa but still would like another guy who could collapse/bulrush the middle. That would really turn this defense into something specially.

Lol, hell yeah! But Dlaw needs to smoke some herb now that Gregory can.

Get mad at the QB... get outta here....I'm gone to get you...and he does! BAM.

Randy needed a coach that was gonna invest in him ... Jim Tomsula was not at all gonna do that.
He was more committed and bias towards his guy Aldon Smith... - while Randy received only a mere 11 snaps vs Baltimore.
Reports were management was furious about that,... and could not wait to show Tomsula the front exit window head first ...and yes, Nolan as well.

Well, it didn't exactly help that the league tried to keep him suspended and he had to fight for reinstatement. It's hard to build a new coach's trust when he doesn't have you around for the first six games of the season.

Just odd that they didn't even attempt to extend him this offseason. That was the time.

Nearly everything Dallas has needed to go right for them has gone right for them.

There is a reason Gregory would’ve been a first rounder and as we all know there is a reason we drafted him in round 2.

Dallas paid the price and now they are getting some legit return on investment.

Also, I never saw him being this complete of a player. He’s stout against the run and his block shedding is as good as anyone’s.

He seems to have a motor that doesn't quit. Every time you see him he's going pedal to the metal!

The difference this year is this new bull rush power he has. He never had that at Nebraska or in his early years. He’s literally pushing OT’s back like they are children.
I would say he has achieved his mojo.

Don't know about more motivated, Lawrence always seems to give 110 percent effort when he's out there. But actually getting some more consistent pressure from the other side and Odighizuwa should help him see fewer double-teams as well as teams having to worry about Parsons pass-rushing from his LB spot. Lawrence has to be champing at the bit over that considering how many times in his career he's been doubled or chipped.

If Gallimore can add to the pass-rushing push, this line against the pass (at least) could be pretty scary.

the key will be Gallimore
If he can push the pocket then we can have a great DL. If not, these same posters will be here telling us how much Gregory and DLaw are “being held” by OL as if none of the other DEs “get held”
