Has the league admitted screwing up by not reviewing Dak's TD?

I haven't seen a thread on this, so either there are too many threads or they haven't admitted their mistake. I'm watching the game again right now, and the more I see that play, the more incredulous I become that they didn't call it a TD in the first place, but to not even review it was just pathetic.

They called it a TD and then reversed it

I think the issue was there was no clear shot at where the ball was
The goal line on a run play is really so congested you can see well
Technology could tell if the ball crossed the goal line but isn’t very valuable at telling you if a player is down

That is exactly what Steratore said when I just re-watched the video. Just no clear shot of the ball. Plus, there's that pic I have of Dak's knee being down just outside the goal line as well which he pushed forward from after it was down. Just can't see where the ball is when the knee hits.

Bill told them to squash it.

They did.

It never got reviewed, so they never officially called it a TD. Maybe one guy did and someone else said no, but it should've gone upstairs for review, where they would've seen that it was in fact a TD. In the scheme of things it doesn't matter because we won anyway, but someone should be held accountable.

You can watch the replay. The ref raised his hands and signaled touchdown.

It's just amazing that Dak's entire body from the knees up can be in the endzone but since the officials couldn't see the ball they can't call it a touchdown.

At some point common sense has to kick in, doesn't it?

It wasn't called a TD so there's no review required. I think he scored, but even if they reviewed it it wouldn't have changed because you don't see the ball.

I think it was an Eagles fan in Trolling the Nation who said the refs must've thought Dak was holding the ball in his ankles. lol
