Clearly both Kazee, Kearse see the lion share of safety snaps, but the likes of Hooker and now Wilson are playing in certain packages, would like to see the same treatment with Kelvin Joseph at the corner position. Get his feet wet in a few sub-packages and allow him to gain the experience he sorely lacks. I believe Joseph will make an impact at some point this season.

I hope he can come in and play well. From what I remember he didn't look so hot in pre-season but he is a rookie. While Brown isn't terrible I think it's a position we could surely use an upgrade.

He has all the physical skills to be good in this league, but he needs the reps.

I'd like to see him earn reps. I don't want him, or anyone else on the team, given reps just because of their draft or salary status.

He hasn't done anything in a couple of months. Let him earn some PT going up against Cooper, Lamb, Gallup, and Wilson in practice.

Anything is better than watching brown get burnt game in game out.

I hope I am wrong but Joseph needs to be the Cowboys best mirror corner by the time the playoffs start. The NFC offenses are really good and I don’t like Lewis in coverage. Brown has been ok and I would not mind seeing him as a nickel back. We need three quality corners for the playoffs.

Is he even practicing yet?

He was hurt the end of August in what was supposed to be a 2-4 week thing. It did not at all look serious when it happened

Coming up on 8 weeks later....

I would think part of that is the roster numbers thing, but maybe they didn't see enough from him to rush it either.

I wasn't in love with the pick.....it seemed 100% forced after not getting a CB in the first.

Don’t force it. No reason to.

It's late October- but only 1/3 of the schedule has been played. Teams will have to establish depth across their offense and defense to get one of those playoff berths.
Joseph probably will get an opportunity to get on the field over the next three games.

He practiced last week, but will be activated off the ir prior to our next game

We are going to need a full roster to compete against the elite teams

I agree. Lewis has fallen off, and I would really like to see Joseph challenge for his role

I’m glad the Cowboys re signed both Brown & Lewis in the offseason and let Cheeto go. Now guys like Joseph and Wright have to earn the time and the trust of Al Harris Joe Whitt and Quinn to get “ meaningful “ playing time. 17 games is way too many for a sport like pro football , the physical toll will have everyone involved at some point.

Wright showed ball hawking ability in college I hope this translates into the NFL
