He is 6 foot 6 and 320, Moves well for his size and has caught the scouts eyes. Watching now vs TAMU and he pushes the pocket on a three man line while being double teamed. Interesting prospect who had a nice game with 6 tackles vs Texas a couple weeks ago.

Day two talk, but I can also see him late day 1 with a great season. Both a system and need fit for us. A good fit in a DL group that has Gallimore and Odighizuwa, and makes some of our niche DT's irrelevant.

I think he can be a similar player to Aikeem Hicks

I like the Hicks comp. Dont know if you are old enough to remember Dave Butz, but Ridgeway reminds me a little of him with more wiggle. Just a load to move off the line and for that size plays with good pad level and leverage.

A few years before my time.

I think both Gallimore and Odighizuwa can be quality guys, but I think they need a DT on the line that is better than both of them. Especially a power player. Ridgeway is both of those things, and I think there is alot of pass rush potential there. If he plays up to expectations, you could have a really quality interior with alot of flexibility

You guys have to let go of the Gallimore hype.

He's a one dimensional player with very low FBI. He's a slightly better version of Trysten Hill (mainly becuase Gallimore has heart) and Hill maybe be one of the worst players in the league.

Odighi might be good. Showing some flashes.

I think Gallimore is a better 3rd DT than he is a starter. He has a very weird athletic profile and isnt a real fit as a true 3T or 1T. Great linier burst, horrible change of direction, and alligator arms. If you put him in a spot where he can be a energy guy, he can help you

I like where your head is at on stacking the DL. I'm all for adding more big guys in the trenches... its fun when your team has that advantage.

John Ridgeway, DT | Grade: 3.51 | Projected Round: 4th

Arkansas’ top prospect is John Ridgeway, a transfer from Illinois State and one of my favorite small-school prospects the past two years. Ridgeway has the physical skills, football ability, and intensity to play on Sundays. He’s large, strong, and incredibly intense. Ridgeway also shows great quickness and playmaking skill on the field. I presently grade Ridgeway as a fourth-round prospect, but he could move into Day 2 with a good season.

Thats conservative to me. I have him as a mid 2nd who could play his way into the late first

Probably doesn’t fit what we are doing.

Quinn is looking for guys who can play inside and outside.

The Michigan DL and A&M D Lineman I think Dallas would have a lot of interest in.

If DeMarvin Leal or Hutchinson are sitting there they would be no brainers.

At this point in time I am wondering if Quinn will be DC next season, he is checking all the boxes for HC again

I think we are fine there. Nobody will give him another crack at it anytime soon I don’t think.

Im not sure he even likes being a head coach.

I trust your judgment on this one. He has some serious skills turning this defense around in a year, through both the draft and using existing talent. Give him a DT that is better than superior and we could be the start of a run.
