On Sunday, a source said Prescott is out of the protective boot and another source said Prescott is feeling better.

The Cowboys don’t seem overly concerned with Prescott’s ability to play next Sunday against the Vikings. The first test for Prescott is Wednesday’s practice at The Star. If Prescott participates without any problems, then everything should be fine.

And Dak was just starting to enjoy walking around the training facility like Long John Silver.

i guess that shoulder injury in 2019 that caused a horrible dak game in 19 wasnt an injury that shut down our season

2020 his ankle was tore off
2021 off season another shoulder injury and now a calf..

Id say Dak is beginning to get beat beat up about the same time romo was in his career..

lets hope the calf isnt too bad and doesn't create another 2019, fast start poor ending ..

I think people here love to create drama in their own life. Cowboys have stated they are very optimistic about Dak not missing, Dak has said he is fine and will play. Funny Dak predicted as much from the media have a field day with this. Clearly if he is that injured he will not play but I have seen nothing to say he will not play in this game. Same thing with the shoulder situation where people make a bigger deal of it than there was, I come to understand some love to go into panic mode and thrive on the drama.

dak not missing isnt the issue remember that shoulder injury in 2019 and the game after sure he played he looked HORRIBLE. we lost because of his shoulder injury. we didnt make the playoff because of it.

can he push off, will his technique be effected, will he be mobile in the pockets or lose some escapability create more sacks or a sack fumble etc, will it get reinjured quickly and se him back another game or 2?

lots of answers but just because hes tough and can suit up and stat doesnt lessen the concern. If we had viable backup id sit him this game and make sure the stretch run is better then the 2019 collapse..

Dak continue to say he is fine only people saying otherwise are people who do not know and people who are not in Dallas. If the team does not feel he can go then he won't but there has been 0 indication that Dak is not playing. If you and others want to do the drama thing fine. I'm not concerned and yes I do believe what the team and Dak says over those who have no clue and are not there. For me the question of sitting or playing is the same of all players, if you are injured and can't go then you don't play, it you are hurt and can go you play, that is what football players do and have always done.
