Good morning all. This has been on my mind all week and figured I would get the opinion of the board.

Would anyone here be opposed to bringing Travis Frederick back as a consultant? I believe his knowledge (the guy is a genius) would really help our young center grasp the line calls and overall position a lot faster. Tfred didnt want to retire but had to because of a freak illness that is so rare we barely hear about it. I dont think he would be opposed to being close to the game he loves. What say you?

I say, given his issue is his strength and getting pushed back, lets pump him up with some steroids and see how it goes

Setting aside the snap issues, he's been playing fine. Both his run and pass blocking have been on point since Week 3. I'm not sure why people think he's a problem other than the snap issues, which I don't expect to continue.

Why does Tyler need to be consulted ? We already have coaches for that.

And Tyler has a high football IQ for the center position.
His problem is more on a physical and technique level than what it is lacking mentally.

Physically I dunno if he can ever get his play strength up to what it needs to be - and there's a big difference between Play strength and Weight Room Strength.
It's gonna be interesting to see how this center position plays out in the offseason.

My biggest hope is Tyler does not get injured because the options behind him is not encouraging in how they chose to address and develop the backup center options

@phildadon86 Why not just let coaches like Philbin do what he has been doing? Look at Steele. He has responded well to the coaches. The Cowboy OL is doing fine.

Biadasz is doing just fine. When Biadasz gets beat, he gets beat by the opposing player just being better and not a technique issue.

Biadasz is not getting beat by chopped liver. Those DL are good.

Sure, fredricks would be great, but you do realize Biadasz is really starting after his first off season right? Give the guy some time to develop, there isn't a team in the league with all pro's at every position... Biadasz has played well considering his limited experience.. I know you weren't necessarily slamming him, but you gotta have some patience, most of his issues will get better with experience alone.

Biadasz just needs to clean up technique. Not about size or strength. Technique improves with snaps. He honestly would be in a better spot if Zack hadn't been shut down last year. When B was healthy, we needed a veteran in the lineup, so Looney stayed.

All comes back to that brutal hit Dalton took. Not one of the OL did anything. Zack, Looney, and Erving all had something to say the the kids about that.

Damn, had Zack and Erving been on the right side, they probably still be looking for that LB's body

Is Travis a strength and conditioning coach?

What Biadasz needs is about 20 lbs of muscle and better technique on maintaining his base when opposing tackles shove him backwards

I got a kick out of Marc Columbo getting canned by Judge Joe last year. Made me laugh . Not that the OLine hasn’t gotten any better in New Yawk .

Philbin has this unit playing really well . Terrence Steele exhibit A. I hate to see him beached for Collins. Farniok or McGovern can fill the gap if Biadaz can’t cut it.

I don't think bringing in Travis Frederick is all that helpful, unless you can transplant his innate physical talent and agile mind into whatever offensive lineman at the center position. Besides that, I've read that Frederick wants to forge another career in the tech industry.

Making the calls and his knowledge is a strength.

Biadasz needs to take roids and hgh for a full off season and he should be good to go strength wise next year.

I don't think his issue with the mental side of the position, but rather lack of functional strength.

Surrounding him with Martin on one side and Collins on the other will make him better.
