At worst Collins will be the starting left guard next season. Collins is the 3rd best linemen we have.No way. He’s got a good contract. A team would give up assets for him.
He’s got value.
Quality offensive lineman are NFL gold.
I have no problem giving credit where it's due. Is it him? Don't know... But in his second year, they're certainly doing things that are out of character, and I like it.So... is this Mike McCarthy doing these things?
I know we all give his game management the side-eye, but if he's making these uncharacteristic roster changes...
Should we sing those praises in his name?
7. All of the above6. We like drama!
He’s an analyst, want to be. I said this , I said that . I say three to one wrong. I mean you have to be right once in a whileYou also said they should have moved Martin to tackle when Collins got suspended at that the team was making a huge mistake by not doing so. You think we forgot that?
Way to protect yourself. Good for you lolYep and I also told you that if Steele was great I wouldn’t regret my opinion based on the information I had.
I still don’t regret my opinion either..
I give McCarthy some credit here if he's trying to establish a culture, and Collins is being punished for his foolishness acting like Rodney Dangerfield in 'Back To School' attempting to bribe his way out of problems...
McCarthy said they were going to start the week with Steele at RT, not Steele will start in the game at RT so let's stop perpetuating something the coach did not say. LC could easily be the starting RT once they get to Minnesota.
I'm giving you what McCarthy actually said. That's not logic it just repeating his own words.Oh stop with the logic.. The "punishment" theory is so much a better story.
This might have already been said.....but it feels like the Cowboys are show casing Collings for a possible trade....Steel is really set in to the position, much cheaper and less a headache off the field..... Collins missed all of last year and 5 games this year.... Do you trade Collins....RT are hard to find
I'm actually very surprised they are working Collins at guard.
It's the right thing to do, which is why I'm surprised.
Still getting used to that around here. Wouldn't have happened under Garrett.
We'll see......not sure if you heard this but reports say Steele glued himself to Zack Martin during the offseason, learning everything he could. It's apparently paying off.
BTW......just took a look at Collins's contract, didn't know all his guaranteed money is paid after this season.
