If injured then he needs to sit, if not you play. My god I don't see Rodgers, Brady or any other QB being held out when healthy. You need this team to continue to work with each other, you don't sit him and just play him vs tougher teams. Teams get beat every damn weekend by poor teams so acting as if Dallas can't stumble even vs a bad team is a load of crap. Football player play that is the job, not hard to figure out.

What's not hard to figure out is here is a guy who is still a....? about him playing. I don't gamble here, you can.

We need to try and secure home field and a bye in the playoffs. You don't do that "next week"....you do that RIGHT NOW.

No it doesn't. Wins are not give me games. Maybe in your Madden world it is but in reality teams are beaten by bad teams happens normally once a week where some low team steps up and unexpectedly wins.
But even beyond that you want guys out there playing with each other maintaining a continuity. I'm all for sitting him if trainers feel that is the best thing but if he is healthy he plays period

By the way why do we need him for Atlanta but not Denver?

BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew ya could do it, yes we need hin for Atlanta so lets make damn sure we have him, see how it works? We don't need him vs Denver, that is my point.

I say that Dak plays, if the trainer and medical staff clears him to play. Then if the Cowboys have built up a big double digit lead, they can consider resting him sometime in the 4th quarter.

Yes, we need Dak to play. He must play, we don't want to lose a poster if he does not play. Don't you understand that Sir Rockport will go into deep depression if he does not play? Have some sympathy, man.
Congrats on the Knighting Sir @Rockport

Bingo? We need him for a lousy Atlanta team but do not need him for Denver? why are you scared of Atlanta, do not think we can beat Atlanta? lol

Again if Healthy he plays you don't hold out starters during the middle of the season if healthy. I don't see a single HC or team sitting a healthy player and especially a QB, be it Brady or any other QB. So in your view if Dak checks out 100% healthy he needs to sit? wow.

That's a great way to make sure Denver is extra fired up for us. Sends the message; we think so little of you, we're going to sit our star QB because we ain't the least bit worried about you. I'm sure the Broncos wouldn't take that as the ultimate disrespect.

Wow fans really like to over complicate things. You play Dak when he is healthy enough to play, whenever that is. It’s very simple.

If he is fit as a fiddle let him play or else with the bye he would have been out of action 3 weeks.

I cannot belkieve how little faith you guys have in our team, wow! We can't beat Denver AT HOME without Dak, whoa~~~~~

Flawed logic. The best players IF HEALTHY should always be on the field to get better and better to peak at the end. This isn't baseball...

I think we can win our next two home games without Dak, but.....he will be totally/completely ready to go by Atlanta so play him. I have had a bad ankle it takes it takes awhile to get back to 100%.

He does not have an ankle problem, he has a strained calf after the NE game, then we had a bye week then he sat this past game this coming weekend will make 3 weeks since the injury. If healthy he plays and right now the plan is he will unless the trainer feels he needs to.

It's not about Denver, No team in the midst of trying to get to the playoffs or trying to compete for top seeding, is going to sit their starting QB, when he is healthy and cleared enough to play. The Rams, Cardinals, Packers, Bucs wouldn't sit their QBs, just because they are going up against a bad team, so why would you expect the Cowboys to sit Dak, after he has been cleared to play by the trainer and medical staff?
