Zeke banged up still out there didn’t make much sense either . Corey Clement getting a nice direct deposit every 2 weeks for just this situation .

Not because we lost. It’s the NFL. It happens. The Bills lost to the hapless Jags today.

But leaving Prescott in the game once it was crystal clear we couldn’t win and given his recent injury? Inexcusable.
Yeah because putting him on the sideline will help knock off some of the obvious rust that needed knocked off.

Yeah because putting him on the sideline will help knock off some of the obvious rust that needed knocked off.

You know what would help ‘knock off the rust’ of the entire team?

Not calling off Wednesday practice after ONE HOUR because the Vikings game was ‘tough’. I guarantee the Broncos went through their regular practice. Compared to 20 years ago, they barely practice as it is.

You know what else would help with that? Team leaders on BOTH sides of the ball saying, ‘What? No. We’re practicing. We haven’t accomplished anything yet.’

I don’t give a hoot who doesn’t agree with me, leaving Prescott in that game was moronic. I wasn’t worried about him getting hit. Getting hit didn’t cause the injury. Just because he dodged a bullet doesn’t make the decision right.

So, to reiterate MY opinion (and the opinion of a TON of other people, including medical professionals):

1. Leaving Prescott in the game, regardless of what Dak thought, didn’t think, wanted or didn’t want to do, was ignorant beyond words.

2. Calling off an entire practice gets you exactly what you saw today: An unprepared team in all three phases of the game. Yeah, I thought the blocked punt result was a bummer, but the rule is crystal clear: once that ball went beyond the los, it was just a punt at that point. PROS GET PAID TO KNOW THAT, AND COACHES GET PAID TO MAKE SURE PLAYERS KNOW IT.

Who balled out today? I bet you can count the players on one hand. #11, #……, well, that’s it until I go back and watch.

That was a team whipping from the top down. MM set the tone with the Wednesday non-practice. His players simply bought into it.

No you play Dak to the end, he hasn't practiced in three weeks and it showed. Too much coddling going on, he needed the reps for next week

I didn’t jump to any conclusions. Dak shouldn’t have been in the game. NO QB1 should have been in that embarrassment.

Unless he specifically told his position coach he was going to finish the game as a message tot he rest of his team mates that he doesn't quit.

This is a damned if you do, and damned if you don't situation.

McCarthy? Really? Again, Moore gets a free pass. The #1 offense didn't score one point in 3 quarters. FIRE MOORE!

Never give up.

I’m ok with it.

Had he been hurt I’d have wanted him deported.
If Dak would have ripped his Achilles or ACL then McCarthy should have been fired on the spot. Thank God that didn't happen so I feel no harm no foul. If I was Jerry I would pull him aside and be like "bro, what's up with all these 4th down plays and why was Dak in there?".

I'm still feeling McCarthy is doing well overall with the team and I hated McCarthy for a while. He just won me over so I'm not ready to jump off his bandwagon yet. But the true test of his HC skills will come how we respond. If we don't respond well then it's a different story.

Lol, but yes if Dak got a season ending injury in the last two minutes of a lost game then deportation would be the only option. Deport him back to Green Bay if that happened.

McCarthy needs to stop going for it on 4th-down.

We are one of the worst teams in the league converting only 35.71% of the time.

Is this how it's going to be when the team has a loss? even a bad loss? just start firing people especially someone that's doing a pretty good job of magaging things? we're 6-2 brah. Hang tight.

Nope. Dak pushed to play so he needed to play and put points on the board

The best part is that we won't likely have to -- he'll be moving on next year, according to some of our most knowledgeable folks! ;)

McCarthy still has 8 more years left, if Jerry allows him as much leeway as he did with someone named Jason Garrett. We're good.

Who does he take reps away from:
Ceedee?
Coop?
Gallup?
Wilson?

Good question . How about this I’ve said it before get Turner involved more in the return game kickoffs and punt returns get Lamb Pollard Wilson off those duties . As far as the passing game goes it’s tough to squeeze him in although next season if you went Wilson over Gallup , Turner makes a nice alternative and get a comp pick out of losing Gallup to FA. Too much WR talent nice problem to have.
