Was Lamb a little gimpy on the overthrows?

Well I'm pretty sure the reason things got easier in garbage time was that Denver was not playing as hard. Even if the coach was screaming at them to maintain the shutout it's human nature that there will be a let down. Except for the pass rushers.. Those guys were trying to pad THEIR stats in garbage time knowing every play is going to be a pass against tackles they'd been whuppin all day.. but the secondary was out there posing for pictures..

Yeah you're probably right we gotta let that one go.. But I for one am going to be paying close attention to those practice reports this week. Specifically who is being held out and who is "limited." Practice matters.. if it didn't they'd all just show up on game day.

Dak, Amari, and CeeDee were all dealing with injuries, which I'm convinced was a factor in the offensive performance last Sunday. The question is if they are going to be improved this Sunday. It'll be nice to have a healthy Gallup in there.

Dak practiced with Lamb one time in three weeks and CeeDee strained his ankle. The ankle probably bothered him and Dak’s timing was off. I expect a big game from those two against Atlanta.

On the one he completely laid out for it at it was just a yard or so overthrown......but the other throw was so overthrown any receiver knows there no chance so they let up

Making excuses for overthrows? Now, blaming Lamb instead of Prescott. We'll know who to blame when Dak overthrows or underthrows Gallup.

Well you know how this works.. Anything that these idiots can use to bash Dak they will trot out the instant he has a bad game. They've been starving for him to have a bad game for almost two years so you have to forgive their exuberance now. Most of all I will start caring about this "throwing competition" nonsense when they put the "arcade play" into the game. Football aint played in no damn arcade.. When I was in my 20's and 30's I could probably outrun 90% of the guys on this Cowboys team.. but at no point would I have claimed that made me a better football player than any of them. But I do agree that if Carr were to challenge Dak to that stupid game now Dak would destroy him..

Why are we having so many injures at practice this season? Dak, DLaw, CeeDee and now Gregory. Is MM doing something wrong? Injuries happen but this many injuries at practice are not normal.

I felt like Lamb let up both times but you might be right and that it just looked like he had a chance at them since he let up…he probably never had a chance at them.

To me those throws looked like Dak was unsure of how much his legs were contributing to his deep throws, so he overcompensated with his arm and the ball sailed. Marino used to do that later in his career when he was wearing a custom fitted shoe sometimes iirc.
