Well, here's the usual. This time it's real.. too many key injuries. Falcons beat a good team... thoughts
yes, worrisome. not because of our offense, I think they will be fine. will bounce back. but worried about defense. the projected starting DL is out. a key LB is injured and on IR. so we are thin on defense. they may end up make a few stops, but give up a big play that keeps drives alive.....this has to be a socring fest and we need to score at least 31 to win

In a different thread I just posted that stat showing that our defense is averaging giving up 31 points per game, the worst in 20 years. Dak’s been great but it’s the inability to sign players to shore up the defense unless the offense can just flat out score everybody.....time will tell

way off!

a lot of those were garbage scores and i don't count them, they are much improved and truly in crunch time my eyes tell me they aren't as bad as they nit picking stats show..this defense is far better then last year and not historically bad..

we gave up a lot of garage stats to philly and Carolina but when the game was in hand for 50 mins we had them under 20, against MN under 20, those points last week some were squarely on the offense..i mean giving back the balls on failed 4th downs, missed fgs, too many punts on failed drives, and TOs all matter.

most fans can see though the bs and can actualize when games matters and in hand they are not giving up 31 points a game type defense..

many teams pad points and stats in losing efforts like we have say game 1 and all of last year..its skews reality..
i see a middle of the pack defense overall not great or bad just average, we have been most inured and the starters will come back and hopefully hit their stride in December when we have more complete DL..

Nice pass to a very WIDE OPEN Wr.

One pass does not make a QB Elite.

3 NE defensive Starters went out during the game.

Another TD called back so the score went from 21-7 NE (Where Dak would have the pressure to play catch-up football) to 14-10 NE.

He had all the time in the world back there.

Diggs and Mr. Gregory also played a major part here.

The problems with Elite Dak start and end when things around him aren't perfect......just be patient very soon you will witness another Dak debacle as our team cannot carry him weekly.
You really hate him don’t you. I know what the alternative can be. Well I think we are very lucky to have him

The defense is just not consistent. Very young and piece is still missing

so thats not my fragging point!!!!

they are NOT giving up 31 PPG, that's my point..i know what i see and the pieces are having that DL back with its starters

Gregory, tank, urban, Gallimore and others have been in and out of the lineup all year, depending on rookies to hold up is most of the issues. We are getting those pieces back in December which i pointed out earlier..

ok so heres the defensive final scores

31
17
21
28
20
29
16
30

that also like i said skewed by many late garage scores we had them around 20 beofre the late surges.

Not sure where 31 even enters into this average,

fake narratives

you have to forget about Tony. This is not the same old Cowboys. He’s not gonna make the mistakes Tony did
Why do I waste my time with Dak Zombies.....????
When logic and reality close them in they resort to ludicrous rants about Romo, Hate, or that were fans of another team.

Crazy how little equity a 6-game win streak gives these days. Did we expect the team to go 16-1? So many sky is falling opinions and it makes zero sense.

It's not THAT we lost, but HOW we lost.

That was a brutal fisting to the posterior of the team, man.

The most recent odds I've seen is that we're favored by 8 points. The Falcons have a good offense but a lousy defense that averages 27.5 points per game being scored against them. Let's hope we'll manage to pull this out at home, even though we were awful last week vs. the Broncos.

Yeah but watching the game you could just see that it was one of those days. Every team every year has one of those “what can go wrong will go wrong” games, we just had ours.

Shoot the punt block fiasco is the perfect example.

Understandable.
Could go either way.

Let's hope for the best, send the right vibes and hopefully watch a well executed game plan on both sides of the ball with no more injuries.

I know this will probably sound silly, but I think about this all the time. Most of the time Cowboys fans are collectively so negative. With such a massive fanbase, I often wonder if that energy transcends over into the Cowboys teams and creates this world of mediocrity, because that is the reality we create and expect for ourselves. The world is what you make it.

average is 24 PPG not adjusted for offensive and TO issues and garbage time points,,

anything else you want to be way off on?

Not silly at all.

Falcons are going to win. Unless Parsons is an every down pass rusher, Ryan will have 8-10+ seconds to throw from the pocket without any pressure. He will pick apart the zone defenses easily. And the Falcons will be able to run at will as well. On offense, Dallas will have a tough time protecting Prescott against the four man Atlanta rush with Tyron Smith out and the left side of the line starved of talent. Also, on special teams, Zuerlein is out.

Falcons might win in a blowout, but I'm sticking to my close game prediction... 28-24 Falcons... could be very generous for Dallas, though.

maybe. maybe not...usually takes 2 or 3 games to get out of a funk. right now injuries are impacting this team. 5 defensive players, key defensive players are out. amari has hamstring issues (unless he rests since gallup is back to allow it to heal). CD had ankle issues. tyron is out....so far the back ups have stepped up, but hope they continue, but injuries are mounting for this team

I gladly stand corrected. I used the stats off statmuse. Not a fake narrative, just mistaken.
