They have to put someone else in there, whether it’s McGovern, Collins, or Farniok. I was disappointed that even when they did put the young guys in, it was at center and right guard. But maybe that was simply punishment?

If only McGovern could snap... McGovern is a meat mauler and would be a great center if he could snap... same for Collins imo

You can put lael at lg and still use Connor Williams as the fb/extra offensive lineman so he is still on the field and contributing and the good vibes keep on rolling

On the Zeke goal line td , Connor was the only linemen to get pushed back.

The question for me is whether we moved Steele to LT was because we felt he was a better option than La'el or because we wanted Collins to go back to his starting position. If we think Steele is just the better player or the better RT, then I could see Collins being given a shot at LG when Smith gets back. But I think it's more likely that we keep Collins as the starter at RT.
And as I pointed out in another thread, McGovern didn't play that many snaps on the line Sunday and had a hold called against him. So I'm not sure Dallas sees him as a better option.

I hate to see anyone lose there job! Having said that Williams has to either improve fast or be replaced
This offense has been very good at making up for these drive killing penalties to date. BUT this has to get cleaned up, because when we play teams like the Cards , Packers , Rams , Or Bucs in the playoffs - shooting ourselves in the foot we with these penalties will be the difference why drives die and we leave points on the field. These teams are to good to overcome these types of mistakes against !
