Great post.

I sit back and laugh at fans somehow crying about other fans making someone their ‘whipping boy’ and specifically mentioning Jaylon Smith.

The same Jaylon Smith that’s now been released by two teams and has no interest from the entire league.

As it turns out, those ‘mean fans’ and their ‘whips’ were 100% correct.

The truth hurts sometimes.

It would be kind of funny to see what he said if a third team was dumb enough to sign him. After all, all he ever wanted was to play for Green Bay. What would he say about the new team?

Williams or Neal. Neal...or Williams? Neal is the worst defender we have, not even an argument IMO. Williams is the worst offensive linemen and just....suuucks. So there ya go: it's a tie.

Connor Williams leads the league in penalties

Steele isn't far behind. The Cowboys have three players in the top ten in penalties. Joining the O-linemen is Diggs, who checks in at #9.

At this point there is no one even close to the human turd that was Jaylon. People like Connor and LVE may not be setting the world on fire but they are not even close to the liability that was J Smooth. A good whipping boy needs to check a number of the following boxes:

1. Has a high priced contract. You can't be a whipping boy if you don't make any money. Holding out for the big money deal is an added bonus.
2. Thinks about themselves more than they do the team. Will always make decisions in their own best interest.
3. Is often unavailable due to either injury of suspension. Team does not seem to miss them when gone.
4. Best season ever by far is in a contract year.
5. Play on the field is sub par.
6. Was a high draft pick or acquired via trade for valuable draft capital.

If I had to pick one I would say D Flaw check a lot of boxes.
