The whole Inside the NFL segment showed great Dak footage. His energy was contagious!

Love the "reestablishing", but Dear Dak......we need you for the rest of the games, this is the NFL, this is a game of men.....we don't need you reestablishing an identity by taking unnecessary hits.

See?

There you go. All emotion. I would lay down some green on the fact that you can't come up with more than one person who literally never gives Dak any credit, but here you are, all wrapped up in your feelings, stating untruths in order to make the case you are emotionally attached too, but really doesn't hold up under the light of reason.

Did you go back and watch the clip? Can we at least agree that he did, in fact get stood up then pushed in?
really...not more than one person....

show me one post from @khiladi , @USArmyVet , @Aulac , @PAPPYDOG that say anything positive about Dak...

dude. where have you been?

so what that he got pushed in? do we have to nit pick every little thing to find something wrong....we kicked arse 43-3.....and some here are complaining and finding fault.

that's sheer stupidity

Khiladi, Captain-Crash, ACR731, US Armyvet, Pappy, thats more than one. How much you wanna put down now?

And he was pushed in. I was just saying he didnt need to be to score the touchdown.
Only one of those folks has not given Dak any credit at all. I honestly don't recognize ACR731, he/she must be new or rarely posts. You are blinded by your emotions, prone to see what you want. You name the wager.

Having a mental tally of members labeled in a derogatory fashion and then calling them out by name is pure emotional insecurity. You are triggered by their comments, just as you were by my original post in this thread.

It's ok if someone thinks differently than you. Really, it is. You don't have to throw a hissy fit every time somebody expresses themselves.

Why do you get triggered at anything positive posted about Dak, especially if anyone give him justifiable praise?
he hates Dak. he is misreable in life and just wants to be angry and get into argument over nothing.....I even doubt if he is a Vet, given some of the other things he says....he is looking for sympathy....there are a few other Vets on this site and none of them gloat about being one or none have ever demanded respect (they just get it without asking).

I am not throwing a hissy fit by any means. You asked me to name people who never have said a positive thing. None of those people have. I am not triggered either. I was just appreciating that Dak is back from his injury in full. Thats all.

You constantly tagging me telling me how triggered I am is kind of the pot calling the kettle black dont you think?

Some made their minds up a while back on Dak, nothing will change their views. Heels are so dug in they fail to see what most people who cover the NFL sees in Dak.

What?

The video is posted on the first page of this thread. It is right there, in technicolor. The play by play guy even called it that way.

You're completely missing the point though. It's the fact that you fellas take a good but routine play and make it out as some kind of exceptional, all-star kind of play complete with the embarrassing fawning.

Why is it that our fans who seem very insecure have to make it personal every time they read something that hurts their feelings?
The OP just posted a fun quote from Dak . The problem with your take on that is, a touchdown is a big thing in football. THE big thing. Just like a goal in many other sports or a run in baseball. Master of the obvious? Well, just a little reminder.

So our QB scores one of these by running and smashing into the defence and it was a routine play? So many quarterbacks would have put their butt into the grass long before a defender was even close. Dak took 'em on and made it through. Wasn't necessary (and that is my issue with the play) but as a confidence builder it was cool. Nothing more, nothing less.

Routine play lol...

Come on man.

For the sake of argument lets say that those posters have never given Dak any credit, (which is true for only one of them. Aulac hasn't even dried yet so he/she really doesn't count), but let's say you're right.

SO WHAT?

You don't seem to understand that you and the rest of the emotional bunch are the reason they have the impact they do. You never fail to rush to the defense of any perceived slight of Dak, emphasis on "perceived". You are the food they feed on.

For the record, since you seem to have misunderstood, my original comment had to do less with the play and more with the fawning over the man. I even said it was a good play. If I were Dak, I'd be embarrassed that clip was put up.

From my vantage point at the stadium, I expected him to run to the pilon. The TE had the defender to the inside and he probably scores unscathed. I didn’t understand why he ran insude the TE where the defenders were. This explains it. But I’d rather he not invite the contact going forward, though.

I think that was for him as much as us. He wanted to get that little voice in his head out. Also. Things like that. Even in a blow out inspire your teammates. Them knowing you have no issue putting your body on the line in a blow out is huge for their psyche as well. Just my opinion.

Some of ya'll still trying to make yourself stop sweating after reading that aren't ya? Don't lie.

I appreciate the talent and Dak is playing at an MVP level right now. He has, so far, proven me wrong. I had him as a fringe top 10 QB starting the season, but he's now a bonafide top 5 QB in my eyes. He's earned that with his play on the field.

But the way some of ya'll talk about him is just down right weird.

Come on man you aint that thick.. you know that most of the over the top praise is intended just to troll the ABD trolls. Some of these posters have twisted themselves into a pretzel telling us what Dak can't do and will never be.. So yeah.. we have some fun at their expense when he hammers another nail in the coffin of his limitations and forces the haters to contort themselves further to discredit him.

You honestly think Dak needed to be pushed in on that run? lol. He most likely would have fallen in for the TD. Why is it our fans who dont like a certain player will do ANYTHING to take away from anything good they do?

What makes you think this guy is one of "our fans?"

It was a routine play for a QB of Dak's skillset. I even said it was a good play. You are making the same mistake the other two have. You are redirecting my thoughts on the fawning of some fans over a routine play, to the play itself.

It was a good play that I would expect my 230lb QB who got to the NFL by making those types of plays, to make.

You are even fluffing it up by saying "he took 'em on". No, he took him on. One defender about exactly the same size as Dak.

Good play, which should be expected from a QB with Dak's skillset against a team with a terrible run defense, like the Falcons.
