Why this is a big game for CeeDee Lamb as well as Gallup

As well as being a big game for Gallup, this is a potentially career defining match coming for CeeDee. This is a chance for CeeDee to show why he should be a number 1 WR and be the person that the Cowboys trust to take the markings that Coop usually gets. Let's see what he does on Sunday.
They will make the most of it. Moore will throw in a twist to an already potent Wild Cat passing game.

They should change the rules to make it more fair. Winning should depend on those attributes that we learn from the game like teamwork, commitment, overcoming adversity.......the outcome of a game shouldn't be determined by a random event that puts one team at a disadvantage.

Here is the new rule I would like to suggest.

If a player is out due to protocol then the corresponding player at that same position for the opponent should also be disqualified. That would make it fair to the teams and their fans.

If our kicker is out then their kicker must also be out. If our backup middle linebacker is out then their backup middle linebacker sits out.

Which means in this case............

Tyreek Hill would not be allowed to suit up.

Now, that's fair isn't it? Seems absolutely fair to me.
If this was true in real life as well my wife’s left boob would hurt this morning….

I'm expecting this upcoming game will be career-bolstering opportunities for all of our WRs. I thing Cedrick Wilson is another who might bolster his career, considerably, if he'll merely perform up to what he has lately. Cooper should return in 2 weeks and help us plenty during the final stretch.

This team is blessed with some great depth at the WR position. Hopefully, we'll maintain it as long as humanly possible. As always, the WR positions are always especially vulnerable to injury, in consideration of the rough hits that they must continually endure. We're good to go!

I'd like to think this staff is keenly aware of our depth advantage and will do all they can to protect it this year and beyond. It's a must, with the 17-game schedule being what it is. Today's game demands more depth than ever before. I'm so glad we've got it. :)

Fortunately, Dak has built good chemistry with Cedric Wilson too so while he’s not Amari, he’s pretty good and will make clutch catches. Ceedee and Gallup are plenty good to make defenses forget about Wilson.

He is probably the best slot receiver in the league IMO and at WR1 he might not make the probowl. my two cents

I have seen this, and I expect Cedric to have a big game here too. This is especially considering he's also in a contract year.

The good news for Amari is that he gets a two week break to heal that hamstring and the other nagging injuries he has. Similar to Gregory, the calf injury keeps him off of his bulky knee.

I hadn’t thought about that. Great point and something that shouldn’t be overlooked.

Gallup can do nothing g to change his status. Lamb has Already passed him. Cooper is still the top guy commanding the top corner. Lamb is still growing. He needs to do what he’s done while being covered by good corners. He needs to continue r to improve his release and route running. He’s good . But s ice he’s so skinny, he had to rely on. Quickness and route running g to avoid getting g mauled at the line. Hai ing weight would help but he’s mid 4.5s so it may make him slow.

True. I do t know why after 2018, he always looks like his foot hurts. He used to look like miles Austin after the catch and jerry rice before the catch.

From a GM's standpoint, if you have a lot of good receivers, trading a WR for a player of need is good business, if all is well.
However, injuries pop up like weeds after a rainstorm. Can't have enough depth. Same for the Oline.
Gallup or cooper is gone next year. Most likely it’s Gallup, so why lose him for nothing?

The way life works is being changed, It's the dawn of a new era!

Nah, you're right, but ridiculous does seem to be trending up recently in the NFL.

So true...2+2 doesn’t have to equal 4 any more

I know it’s only 2 years age difference but I’d go with Gallup considering the youth, salary and production

we have cedee for 3.5 more years, he doesn't need to be a number one for a few years. But I think he will step up, and so will the TE's
