Are the Cowboys safe from being caught by Philly in the division?

I personally don't think that the Cowboys need to worry about our division but if Philly wins and we lose were only 2.5 games ahead with the Raiders and saints coming through. While Philly has the Saints, Giants and Jets.
Hopefully this team doesn't lose focus going forward because we all talked a lot of smack. Lol.

Look at it like this.

with the lead the cowboys currently have, combined with games left. Even if the cowboys went 4-4 the eagles would still need to go 7-1 to win the division. And even that might not be enough depending where their loss is and cowboys losses are and tiebreaker situations.

It’s a tall order for them to close a gap that size with 8 games to go.

The Cowboys have 4 division games remaining, 1 with the Eagles, so they control their own destiny and the Eagles need quite a bit of help from the Cowboys.

The Cowboys are 5-1 in the conference and the Eagles are 3-3 and the Cowboys are 2-0 in the division and the Eagles 0-1.

If the Eagles catch the Cowboys, it doesn't matter because the Cowboys wouldn't have done much in the playoffs anyway. Noisemakers in the playoffs do not fold down the stretch, they lift their game.

Philly has an easy schedule in front of them. But lets not forget they're not much better, if at all, than any of those teams. I'm guessing they go 4-3 over the rest of the season. That puts them at 8 wins. Even in the off chance they go 5-2, they're a 9-8 team. If Dallas can't beat that then it really doesn't matter, does it? The season is over.

I can’t see the Eagles sweeping the WFT and the Giants. For them to catch us they can’t lose anymore games in the East. WFT has the best chance because they play us twice.

Is it getting to that point in the season where analysis starts after a loss as to what other team needs to win or lose to keep us safe? If the ‘Boys focus on the game at hand, bring their ‘A’ game every week and not look 2-3 games down the road we won’t have to rely on other teams doing our winning for us.

To be fair, he wasn’t exactly producing at any high level before he was removed from the lineup. Even by his lofty sub-1200 yard standards he was underperforming.

Philly has to essentially run the table and hope we lose a few. Personally I don’t think philly is good enough to run the table, and Dallas ending up with 6 losses feels like worst case scenario.

outside of us losing dak for the season today I just can’t see it. Philly is currently 4 back from the cowboys in the loss column and running out of season.

What’s funny is Hurts looks half decent in other games he plays and than we play him and he looks exactly like the player I thought he was, awful.
