Guarantee he doesn’t play Thanksgiving giving either. Seems like the organization has decided AFC games don’t count. #4 seed here we come.

Can't see him playing Thursday if he can't go today.

If that's the case he can get an additional two weeks by missing only the Saints game.

At that point the WFT game afterward would be six weeks after the Minnesota game.

How much time would he have missed if they went in and cleaned it up right away? I heard 4-6 weeks.

Then again it seems to take guys on this team twice as long to heal vs normal so I guess that's a factor.

He is 30 years old still ...... he can recover from all the surgeries he needs.
his body is toast at 30, he will NEVER again be anything close to what he was when or if he can stay on the field

I don’t think it’s easy to get him to get a surgery.

Yeah this is the nail on the coffin for this one is say. Still hoping for a win but not looking good! If we do win, I think this is a big sign that this team is different.

Yep....its tough to figure on this stuff when we have none of the medical info.

Just really, really hope they get this one right.

Tryon Smith is monumentally important to this team chances.

Second most important player on the team.

When the 2016 Cowboys shut it down with a game and a half to play in the regular season before heading into their playoff bye it was a "big picture" move too.

And that "smart" (pathetic) and "safe" (weak) decision eliminated them in the postseason.

The Football Gods don't reward cowards. Football's a man's game. As soon as you stop acting like men you're doomed.

Or it was the defense giving up a TD on three consecutive drives to start the game

So now I look at the draft completely different because Tyron's body is breaking down. I'm looking at a tackle in the first 3 rounds, WR, pass rusher. We need a WR because we may not be able to retain Gallup and or Wilson so we need to get that part situated, and possibly a TE too.

That’s at least six straight years he’ll miss three games or more. Hopefully he’ll be fine by the playoffs but if it hasn’t been one thing with him this season it’s been another. He can’t be counted on.

It's time to start talking about a replacement, he's just not reliable.

IMO…. As soon as it was diagnosed as bone spurs, the team should have gone with surgery. Yes, he would be out 4-6 weeks, but when he came back he would be 100%

Now— with their “management” approach— he has contributed nothing for 3 games, and is still obviously hindered and hampered by pain— and we are still 4-6 weeks away from having him be at optimal health bc spurs don’t just magically go away lol.

This team drags it’s feet on medical decisions and crosses it’s fingers and hopes for the best. Just bite the bullet and do the surgery already

Should have done it during the off-season.

Do you realize that if the Eagles win today and then beat the Giants and Jets their next 2 games they will be 7-6. Their remaining games are @Giants, @Jets, Washington, Giants, @washington and finally Dallas. The Eagles could be 10-6 by the time they host Dallas the last game of the year. The Cowboys still have to play KC, Vegas, and Arizona.

The way the schedule has all division opponents playing each other the last 5 weeks, anything can happen. The Cowboys need to win the games in front of them and no game is unimportant.
