So what?
This team still sucks

no it doesn't. not remotely

and holy hell micah is an animal. 3 sacks and a forced fumble? And the fact that his two biggest games have come in losses just proves that he doesn't quit. damn. fortunate

I've been quietly displeased with Neal myself.

He has had a few decent games and plays, but yes, underwhelming for the most part.
I said all off season they had very few LB’s in TC and that Neal should have been placed at SS.

I still think that, and all the lack of LB competition in TC has hurt us big time.
Jaylon big time disappointment and Cox injury.
Now we are stuck with a laser LVE, and Neal and Bernard and Gifford.

Well on passing downs you could slide dlaw inside and have Gregory and Parsons at the ends.......that would be a killer combo!

He is 100% the best player on this team.

He's better than Dak, Martine, Smith, Zeke, Cooper, Lamb, and whoever else you want to throw in.

I wanted to roll my eyes at this comment but I think you’re right.

He’s the most dynamic defensive player I’ve ever seen.

It sounds silly, but he’s just a good of a DE as he is a LB. I think the kid could probably play any position on the football field and do well. I’ve never seen anything like him. I don’t remember him coming off the field all day. He’s our MVP IMO.

Yeah it’s just not normal that a guy can play traditional linebacker at a high level while also being an elite edge rusher.

What a player.

We need to trade DLaw for a LB, put Parsons at DE and re-sign Gregory.

But that's just me thinking out loud.

I disagree. Parsons is even more effective as a LB who in certain situations used as a pass rusher. I want him on the field 90+ % of the time and not just rushing passer 50% of the time.

When he lines up as a DE he gets washed out easily and neutralized. But as LB he can chase from any where.
During obvious passing downs he can blitz or rush.

The Cowboys had two good cornerstones on defense in Ware and Newman but they wasted them. Let's see if they do the same with Parsons and Diggs. We could be in for a repeat of 2006-2010 where the Cowboys had some talent on both sides of the ball but it was never enough. I will say that what we have seen on offense recently in the Denver and KC game reminds me of those late season stinkers that they had under Romo early on in his starting career.

I mean...he is having one of the best rookie defensive seasons ever. The dude is so damn good. I don't think I'd trade him for very many players in the entire league.

Ware had 8 sacks in 16 games. Parsons has 9 sacks in 10 games. Ware was primarily a pass rusher while Micah is a linebacker and a pass rusher. Lavar Arrington had a comment that Parsons was a combination of Ray Lewis and Von Miller. I thought it was hyperbole at the time but it now seems kind of accurate.

Some of us said it a few weeks ago. Like Parsons better than Ware.
