How ignorant.
The Giants were playing the Bucs with most of the offense back from injury. Dallas was playing the Chiefs with a reshuffled OL, both top WRs missing either the whole game or a half.

The two situations couldn't be more identical.

Jones is bad as in bad..........I work with a former Giant season ticket holder. He blames GM for drafting Jones.......

The sooner the Giants move on from Cattlemen & Judge Joe the better . Both are horrible . And across the street the geniuses who run the Jets get a “ defensive “ guru as HC and they give up 54 to NE who starts a rookie at QB they give up 45 to Carson And the Colts and the Bills maul them ….is it the water in that building is it spiked over at the exec suites at Meadowland ??

I just met a NY Giants fan at work and he told me Garrett was fired. I was like, "Really" and smiled. When I mentioned the Mara connection to the Garrett family, he was basically like now the hire makes sense in the first place and that he knew something was up. Because there was no other explanation.

Garrett’s dad was a Giants Scout for what 40 yrs . JG went to Princeton . A fitting job would be to Coach them and dominate the IVY league .

As Judge Joe runs to the bosses to get JG the ax remember Cattlemen is on a short leash so once he’s fired after game 17 the new GM will not want to be saddled with the Judge . Bye

When Ben McAdoo & Pat Shurmur start to look good wow you’ve hit the wall

Please keep this in the “Fan Zone”, as it relates to the “next Tom Landry”. Man, I remember when the majority of folks on this board were demolishing Wade, rejoicing on the fact Garrett was replacing him, while Wade, the whole season, was pretty much making allusions to the incompetence of the “genius” play-caller. Most of them were crying how the Cowboys were losing because of the defense and that Garrett was bringing discipline and a real culture to “Camp Cupcake”. They were telling us how Marion Barber being forced to sit the first series because he didn’t wear a tie was the sign of a new day, as the new sheriff was in town.

Guys like Crayton and other WRs were being bashed as malcontents, but now you’ve got multiple WRs openly feuding with Garrett. Man, it’s great..

Plenty of those rejoicing were the “Romo haters” who latched onto the Garrett-excuse to defend their mediocre QB, Dak. It was pretty convenient, but we all know even Jerry has enough of his adopted son calling plays, that he banished him completely from the offense in 2014. As soon as Romo got “Peyton-like” responsibilities, forcing it with the contract, he was arguably the MVP, going undefeated on the road and utilizing the running game on his own accord. Even Jerry couldn’t go back to defending his boy as a play caller, so he remained content in giving the coordinators the real power, with him the figurehead.

Man, I love the fact that Garrett became the OC fur the Giants, to expose the trash Romo had to deal with. Man, Jones isn’t on any level the QB Romo is, but I feel sorry for him, that he’s got to work with the “QB whisperer” to develop his talent. Garrett probably set Daniel Jones back years.

I don't remember any of the first part of your post. I don't doubt you, I just think I wasn't on any boards at the time this was going on.

I never liked Garrett as head coach. I thought he was just an interim head coach for 2010. I never thought he'd be the new head coach, let alone be coaching after 2013 and three straight 8-8 seasons.

I don't blame anyone for likin Garrett as a choice going into 2011. I just don't see what anyone saw in him after 2013.
