There are some restaurants, if they are still doing it. In Lincoln Square off of Collins, West of the stadium, and a few more up the road, near I-30. If you don't mind a little bit of a walk, but really not too far.
If you spend like $40 in food in there, you can park your car in their lot for the game. Not sure how it really works, if they give you a sticker or something.
Some used to have a shuttle bus, but I have no idea if they still do.

And the food is a hell of a lot cheaper than at the stadium.
I usually ate something at home before I left, or we stopped on the way, then ate in the parking lot.

Could leave as late as 40 minutes before KO, get to the parking lot, but since I parked in handicap, they would give us a ride on one of their golf cart type rides to the entry gate.
Then but the time we got a beer, or sometimes I just got a Dr. Pepper for $5 and lasted me until the 3rd quarter, then got to our seats, it was just in time for KO.
I left a few times as late as 20 minutes before KO.
We walked back to the car after the game though, it was quicker. As to where I had to go to get that ride back to the parking lot, the pick up point was in the opposite direction, and the had to wait at times. It really was about a 5 minute walk, as we walked to the gate at times as well. It depended on how my ankles and feet were feeling.
is the stadium off the I30? I'm coming in from Abilene area.

Myself after having Thanksgiving Dinner over at embassy suites I never needed anything from AT@T concession

Good for you. Hope it's a win!

Does the new stadium serve turkey and stuffing? It just might. :p

Depends on the area. In the Silver Club Mezzanine area where I had my tickets, each game they had some theme type food. Can't recall if they ever had turkey though. But I have not been to a game in 6 years.
They also had a former player there at times signing autographs, photos opportunities.

We have nosebleed seats but we are hoping they are near Jerrys luxury box. That might be cool.

The stadium is well designed so you can see the game fine even from the top row.. I will caution you that when you sit up high though it is going to be VERY difficult not to just watch that huge screen. I mean you can either watch the ants down below or watch the 50 foot tall versions in your face. It took me a half to train myself not to look at it my first time there. Binoculars help if you have some. Costs you some of the wide angle but keeps you from paying hundreds of dollars to watch the game on TV. The trick I learned was to watch up to the snap through the binoculars then let them down at the snap to watch the whole play unfold. By the way, Jerry's box is below the nosebleed seats.. All the luxury boxes are.

1st time I went to AT@T experienced the samething with big board, now days I watched the field and check replays on big screen. I will say being up high it is easy to watch the formation and have a good ideal of what the teams are about to run. It is a different perspective up high but it has certain advantages as well. The regular seats I was getting were about the 40 yard line, Cowboys side of the field in the 400 sections.

Yes, South of I-30 on Collins.
About a mile south of it.

If you are coming up I-20 it should be pretty easy to find as I think you just take 360 off I-20 it takes you right there. You don't have to go all the way to 30.. You can get to the stadium off 360 but they close a lot of stuff off for games so you just have to plan. I don't think an hour and a half is early enough if you are driving and planning to park at the stadium. Some folks have mentioned that there are hotels and shopping joints that let you park for a reasonable and offer shuttles to the game and back.. That might not be a bad move if you don't want to pay a hundred bucks for parking or whatever Jerry is charging these days.

Unsure but all I know is the seats are nosebleeds. Son purchased them. They were pricey.
yes, they are pricey. I was in nosebleed section two (I was taking my three boys)....to be honest, we ended watching a lot of the game on the big screen since the field was so far away (take a small binocular LOL). but tha atmosphere was great.....we talked about going to the standup section by the endzone.....tickets were much cheaper

I don't usually go to the Thanksgiving game but my daughter is coming to town and asked a few months ago for me to take her to see her Raiders. I see it as an opportunity to convert her to a Cowboys fan. She has never been to Jerry World so this will be interesting.

Yeah when you're sitting in the stadium you really see just how silly it is to try and "grade" players from the TV copy (which is what PFF does) .. You are really only seeing about 60 to 70% of the game when you watch on TV.. I have sat in that 400 section on both sides.. I actually prefer to sit on the "visitor" side so I can watch our guys interact on the sidelines.. The last game I went to I was in the SRO crowd.. That actually sucked. It was all end zone so even though we ended up on the mezzanine level being next to the wall meant you could not actually see the back line of the end zone. And I was in front.. I honestly don't know what kind of view the people behind me saw. I also found that even though I generally stand and scream for the entire game... just being able to sit for a few minutes here and there is actually a good thing.. Actually having to stand up for 5 hours (counting having to stand in line to wait for them to open the doors and let people dash to a spot to watch the game. ) I have not splurged on a lower level ticket at the new stadium yet. That won't happen until the kids are all out of college/training programs.

Not really, no but 360/30 interchange has some ,yes but there's like 4-5 way's in and out..i typically uber/lyft as li live 8 miles south of there..going in will be easy come in 1-2 hours early take in the sites but everyone arrives at different times so there not much traffic

on the way out plan it its clusterflap, getting out of the parking lots is a test of your sanity and patience so be prepared once out on the road have your WAZE or nav app already look ahead for best route home and reroute past any traffic issues..

have fun

I've been to 5-6 games there.

Jazzcat is offering up some solid advice....especially the part about going to a local establishment nearby and taking their shuttle to the stadium.

I highly recommend not passing on that advice if you don't have a parking pass. Several places nearby do it as of the last time I was there. A little research should yield a few choices.

First time you walk in there....you'll remember that feeling for a while.

I have never sat in the 400 level and don't know what it's like, but as far as downstairs, don't expect to be able to walk around the perimeter of the stadium. Can't do it. You're cut off by club levels even as high as the 300s.

All else is pretty standard. Bring us some luck man...and enjoy.

Actually coming from the West, I-20 splits and I-30 starts from it in West Fort Worth. By staying on I-20, to 360, you are just adding time and miles.
Just get on I-30 and go straight to the exit to Collins.

Hmmmm.....next time I have a tailgate question and want to ask, I'll need to text one of you to ask for me. Cause I can never seem to get it right as far as what is and what isn't allowed in this particular forum.

There is at I-30 and 360, as they are redoing that entire exchange. Or there used to be, I having avoided that area for the past year.
But if you stay on I-30, and get off at Collins you will avoid that.
