I’d really like to know what a lot of your standards are because people are actually accepting of his performance today and using his stats as a shield to defend his trash play.

Dak missed on some critical passes. One to Cedrick Wilson and one in OT. Both resulting in punts. But he threw a ton of good passes too. Those two just stand out to me. Tom Brady looked like trash against Washington and the Saints, but he has the past to bail him out.

Dak completed 68% of his passes. Three of the incompletions were drops. 375 yards, 2 TDs, zero turnovers don't require "validation" from anyone.

Carr had his best day of the season. You can thank the Cowboys defense for that. Receivers were running wide open all day.

You don't seem to really understand what you're watching. That, or you're so blinded by your search for "validation" that you see what you want to see.
it wasn't the cowboys defense...it was the refs...who were way way way too visible in this game

I just want Dak to pretty much quit talking. Tired of hearing the same rehearsed speech after every defeat. Now whining about fans jumping off the wagon. Can you blame them?????

You understand he is a 40 million dollar player right?

Was he gutsy at the end? Sure.. But he was mediocre and not accurate all game.

He gets paid too much to just sit around and wait for everyone else to make a play.

Also, I feel validated for my opinion about Carr and Dak being basically the same player.
So funny how everyone throws out the "40 million dollar" comment everytime he throws a bad pass. This is a ridiculous barometer for anyone to have to live up to. Do me a favor, how is the "45 million dollar" qb doing this year? Oh ya, worse than the 40....

It seemed to me he woke up and looked like the Dak we have seen all season ( and last and the year before). I choose to focus on that instead of a contract number.

A total stud at QB would have won the game last night, no excuses.

QB's dont win game, teams do.

You dont think a called back TD because of an Oline penalty is an excuse? :muttley: Its the best excuse.

It’s not anytime he throws a bad pass.

The offense stinks right now. Absolutely stinks.

And it is all Dak's fault?

Yes, he missed some bunnies that he normally doesn't. He also made some great throws that were dropped or called back for penalties.

Things i want to see Dak do going forward.....stop throwing falling backward and run more (smartly) when nothing is there.

Those two things will solve the offense's problems, assuming we stop shooting ourselves in the foot.

Yes. Dak is not a playmaker right now. He’s waiting on someone to do something and not putting anything on his shoulders.

We’re back to pointing to everything under the sun as to why Dak can’t make a play even though we all saw an example right across from him in Derek Carr facing the same scenario.

Dak is Dakverage again and he’s the guy that gets carried and doesn’t carry.

Classic Dak is back and the guy who started for us to start the year has left the building post Patriots.

Carr literally got bailed out 3 times badly underthrowing balls that were called PI's.

If Dak did that, people here would be criticizing the bad throws.

Amazing world to live in to never be wrong.

Prior to that what happened? Or is your memory fading?
Yeah, he missed a wide open Gallup for 7. That's the issue, stop trying to abstain him from blame. Yes Tyron held but that ays irrelevant if dak does his job.

My expectations are that 33 points should be enough to beat a mediocre team at home.

Example regarding the 'team' perspective and two QB's from the same game:

Some folks like to point to Rodgers winning in Arizona without his top two receivers. But it was the Packers defense that sealed the game with an Int, limited the Cardinals to 21 points, and forced multiple turnovers. Offensively, the Packers rushed for 150+ yards and controlled TOP. Rodgers threw two 2nd half TD's to Cobb...but was 10 of 21 passing in the first half and 184 yards passing for the game. Cobb caught just 3 passes, but two were TD's.

On Arizona's side, they limited Rodgers for most of the game, but couldn't stop the run. The defense had a goal-line stand with under 4 minutes left in the 4th, giving the offense a chance. They drove the length of the field and into the redzone with a chance to win, but Murray threw the game losing Int with 15 seconds to go, with he & Green apparently not on the same page. It was his second Int of the day.

Dak said himself after the game that he should have taken more deep shot because of the way the zebras were calling the game, but yeah whatever you say.

Daks on a friendly cap hit this year. Wait for the next couple years and see what happens. Every stinking resource will go to keeping a 40 mil dollar QB surrounded by all star talent to make him look legit. And it will be at the expense of an already suspect defense.

We tend to want Dak to be elite because he is being paid like an elite QB. But he is not elite and never will be because he has accuracy issues. Doesn’t mean you can’t win with Dak. They just need to get the running game going and get stronger on defense. If they can do that they have a chance. If the ball is in Dak’s hands all the time and you have to win with him throwing a lot then that’s not going to go to well. Under Dak, when the Cowboys are doing well it’s because they are running the ball well and Dak plays off that. If they can’t run the ball and have to win with Dak throwing then we seen what happens.

I agree with him, he should have.

You missed the part where I said people like you would attack him for the underthrows but propping Carr up for his.

It's high time for Dak to realize that if he is going to talk the talk, he must walk the walk!
