put Romo and Dak in the same offense with the same personnel with the same coaches. Romo wins more games guaranteed.

Romo took 3 win caliber teams to 8 wins.

Prescott takes 13 win caliber teams to 8 wins.

Prescott-Stans are like "It's the same picture"

Team around Dak=Team around Romo

BOth guys were great QB's that can win you championships but Jones isnt good enough to put the proper talent and coaching around them.
This is a pretty fair assessment. I still feel that Romo had a higher ceiling. But the one constant in 25 years is GM Jerrah

Dak completed 68% of his passes for 375 yards, 2 TDs, zero turnovers, and did it with no running game while missing our 2 best WRs.

Meanwhile, the defense gave up 500 yards and 36 points...BUT THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OUTCOME! :muttley:

Romo once got blamed for losing 51-48 in a game where he threw 6 TD passes, so nothing surprises me anymore with this fan base. You just don't understand football.
I'm with you on this.

What is increasingly clear is that it's not DAK that isn't performing, it's the damn OL. People still look at them like the Martin/Frederick/healthy Smith/Collins line. This is nothing like that line, which is
why . . . WE CAN'T RUN THE DAMN BALL consistently. That is still, even in 2021, the key to everything. It's why we get FGs (when the kicker can hit them) instead of TDs inside the 20. It's why you're stuck passing
to the #3 and 4 receiver when the top guys are out. I don't think there is time, especially with the weaknesses on D, but I would begin immediately trading and building through next year's draft a powerful OL.

Injuries aren't anything new here. I've seen other teams win with worse injuries and more people out. and then Cooper being out isn't really for injury.

So Cooper being out doesnt count because its covid? :lmao2::lmao2:

Thats hilarious. When your top two receivers are out, that is devastating. Imagine Mahomes without Kelsy and Hill?

Injuries count. Lawrence, Gallimore, Urban, Gregory would have destroyed Carr last night. We could barely touch the guy.

Dak doesn’t turn the football over like Romo. He didn’t have a single turnover yesterday. He came through with a great touchdown pass to Dalton Schultz late in the game that was negated by a penalty. Our kicker also cost us four points. We were ravaged by a franchise record 14 penalties for 166 yards. Our defense gave up over 500 yards of offense and missed a number of tackles. Every single week the defense gives up big plays.

And how about his throw to Wilson that should have been a td but he airmailed it,or the most important throw of the game in o.t..were they great throws too?...I'd rather have a guy who take chances down the field then try to score throwing 3 yard passes to a banged up rb 2 out of 3 plays.

Romo made plays and risked being the goat for the big play, he was so fun to watch we had tons of great games with him playing. He had a passion for the game he was something to watch. Quick release great feet great deep ball. Can’t believe one of those squads didn’t ever really make a run.

He led us on three scoring drives in the 4th quarter to tie the game. He had a great TD throw to Dalton Schultz negated by a penalty. Dak missed on a few throws but he played well. He passed for 375 yards with a couple of TDs and completed over 68% of his passes with 106.0 passer rating. He did all of that without his two top receivers. We would’ve had no chance in that game with a lesser QB.

With all that being said, did he lead us to win when we had the ball in ot,twice, that's what elite qbs are supposed to do....or if he hits Wilson in the end zone the play with Shultz would never had happened.

Dont ever Compare this dink and dunk fraud of a QB to Romo…

While Romo didnt get it done, he was saddled with worse teams and coaching than Dak. Dak cant even make the simplest of throws in a consistent manner..
Dak and Romo had the exact same coaching until 2 years ago. What are you talking about? lol

He led us to win in OT against New England. He’s not perfect but he’s a great QB. He gave us a chance to win yesterday. If you think there’s a QB in the league that can pull it off every time in that situation you’re kidding yourself. Brady has three Super Bowl losses and Pat Mahomes looked awful in last years Super Bowl. There’s not a perfect QB out there.

When you are supposed to be an elite qb,more times then not,you win in those situations,I know nobody is perfect but I'm damn well sure,Brady, Rogers, Mahomes gets us a win in that same situation yesterday..here's a question for you, since dak became the starting qb,what's our record when we go into halftime losing? Meaning, how many times have we pulled out the win.

If Dak is just dink and dunk, why isn't he at the bottom of the list of quarterbacks with downfield passes of over 30 yards??? Oh yeah... this Romo guy got his spot TAKEN by Dak.

Oh yeah.... Romo has given away more games than Dak has as well. Dak retired Romo's ***, and don't forget that.

With that said, you don't have to continue lying to express yourself. Calling Dak a dink and dunk qb is just a plain lie. Tell the backup receivers how to get open and then maybe you'll see more downfield plays.
