He’s been a solid defender for us all season.

I am more worried about the lack of a pass rush than I am Brown.

You can't let an NFL QB sit in the pocket as long as Carr was allowed to expect corners to maintain their coverage.

There's not much to discuss with Anthony Brown. You get flagged once, you should understand that the Refs are calling it tight, twice, ok technique? 3x bench YOURSELF.....4x should be a cut!!

Brown was unable to handle his assignments. For whatever reason. some say coaches put him in a position to do what he was unable to do. some say he stinks. I don’t know but I doubt the answer is someone sitting on the bench right now.

Cowboys defense struggled all day on 3rd down. Interesting enough there was good pressure on a lot of 1st and 2nd downs but whenever it was 3rd and long Carr had a lot of time. It would be good to review the film and see what the Raiders did differently on 3rd and long to give Carr all that time.

The most frustrating part to me was that some of Carr’s passes that got PI were bad passes and would not have been caught. One was out of bounds and the last one was under thrown.

the one PI on Brown in the end zone in the first half I thought was iffy. I didn’t see a lot there and thought Brown was in correct position and made a nice deflection. The others were bad. The final one that people seem upset about was due to him not even looking for the ball. At first I thought it was a bad call as I didn’t see him grabbing at the wr or anything but on replay you could see his position made it impossible for the wr to come back to the ball and he wasn’t attempting to turn and make a play. That’s always going to get called.

I do think that the offense had too many 3 and outs. So part of the defensive breakdown is on them.
Why ? Because this defense isn’t good enough to overcome that. The longer they are on the field the more frequently the weakness gets exposed. That’s just a reality check.

if we’re going to be honest I think we all know they are better than last year but did we really think they went from terrible to top 10 in one year ?

I think they will improve down the stretch after getting Gregory and Lawrence back. But even then it’s the offense that needs to carry the team.
